Just pick this pedal up today and came across your video. Simply gorgeous. I was mesmerized.

I have always loved the combo of effects that can be used with looper in Memory Man w Hazarai. Now it seems EHX has improved on that pedal. It’s like a little laboratory for sound.

While these delay pedal demos are lovely to listen to, unless one is playing very minimalist arrangements it won’t be practical. In a band or complete song setting, for example, it would be way too busy. Perhaps that’s why I see so many MXR carbon copy pedals at gigs because, in the end, just a little bit of darker, background delay goes a long way. For soundscape artists of course this would be great.

Hi ! Great demo and love your channel ! I’ve got one too and wonder about this pitch part.. normally octaver must be in front of fx chain. So my question is : do you put it in fx loop or direct in the chain ? (I use it for solos with fuzz) Thx 🙏

Is it possible to get those drone sounds on the smaller canyon pedal? I use to have this but sold it as the writing was to small for me to see . Looking at getting the canyon for it’s simplicity.

Yes the smaller Canyon is very good and can do a lot of the same things, In fact, that's one I kept and sold the big one.

How were you able to achieve the drone sound at the end of the video? Do you use a picking technique combined with reverb, or are you using an e-bow?

@@Zladoe Thanks! I was using the reverb type, with the Delay LVL at 100%. That way we don't hear my dry signal, and only the reverbarated echo. Then, I tremolo picked very fast as consistently as I could so that the drone sound stayed as the same texture as much as possible.

It can go up to 16 minutes of recording time and I believe there is no limits of overdubs.

Yes, you can do a lot just by changing the different modes, that's crazy!

And no stereo inputs. ugh.
