I found this pedal so inspiring and by far one of the best delay pedals I have personally ever played \m/ Never seen so many settings in one pedal and so easy to use!! Also a loop pedal?!?! THIS IS CRAZY AWESOME!

Makes so much difference when a player with creative flair demo's a pedal, good job curly haired man, best review I've seen of this pedal and pretty much solidified my decision to order this pedal.

I bought the Flashback a few months ago but when I heard this I just had to have it. This video has shown me more than the manual or the official video showed me. He could have done another 20 minutes on the alternate knob settings for each mode, but still, this is the best demo of this pedal I have found so far. Thanks, great job.

Totally agree, The Canyon is my personal favorite pedal!(so far, never know what I'll bump into in the future)

James Marciniec hi. Just wanted to ask. All my pedals are analog. If i get this canyon, will sound turn into digital? Or converted again to analog?

I heard that Twin Peaks throwback in there! Subd for that. I just got this pedal yesterday for my acoustic. It's incredible.

Best pedal review ever

It's a very cool pedal with a boat load of tones but it's super technical. I was messing with mine yesterday. It's borderline confusing it's so technical. One that ng I didn't like is the tap tempo feature of the built I'm foot switch, which is a clickless button. So of you're turning the pedal on and off, it's easy to mess up, not hit it hard enough, click it twice and you end up resetting and messing up the tempo. Luckily you can turn off tap tempo all together which solves the problem. With EHX pedals, I would say a downside IS the button footswitch. It's not like a boss, a nice wide footswitch. Easy to do with socks but with a button switch pedal, you want to be wearing shoes. But it's cool. I was playing "A Flock Of Seagulls, I Ran" yesterday, side by siding it with my Behringer Vintage Delay (a BOSS DM 2 clone), and it is a technical pedal with a lot of extreme weirdness and setting options but it isn't hard to use ECHO and dial in a simple subtle tone which emulates an analog Delay. Or something TAPE Delay and in the secondary settings set the warble very light, and the Tape Distortion (from the age of the tape in whatever delay box it's in) to degrade with the echo. It's really cool. Same goes for REVERB/DELAY. It's cool to get any type of delay you want and be able to color it any way you want to. DELUXE MEMORY MAN you can get nice delay with levels of modulation strong or subtle without really needing another pedal. I was messing around with Seagulls, I Ran and realized that unlike my cheap analog delay If I hit a chord on the Canyon, have it echo, if I switch off the Canyon while it was echoing, the echo would stop? The Behringer analog Delay echo keeps going after you hit the switch. So I dug into the manual and sure enough, if you take off the back plate, there's a switch that allows you to turn "tails on" which allows the repeats to keep going after the switch off. My point is, as technical as the pedal is, you can easily make it what you want or need. It's very awesome, although I was looking at the newer (simpler) Electro-Harmonix Pico Canyon and that looks like a really awesome, simpler alternative for a Digital Delay. I would rather have that than the MXR Carbon Copy Analog or the Boss DM2 Waza Craft analog pedals. It's probably much less $ than those too I kind of like "the works" that comes with the Canyon or the Oceans 11. They might be difficult in a live band setting where you need more than one setting, but they're fun to sit there and mess with for hours carving out a specific tone or tones.

Such a nice sounding unit. Unfortunately, the scratchy sounds when adjusting the delay is a deal killer for me.

Hi sir. My i used the canyon on a distored amp and it sounds too bad. What would be the problem? Im placing the canyon in my chain coz no fx loop. Should i get an od pedal an use the clean channel of my amp?

I only had it for a day so I can't say but I remember it being incredible!! I still need to buy this!!!

I seen someone record a riff off their phone with this Pedal by holding the phone at the guitar pick ups. So they can steal your riff lol idk if itd work with another looper I will try my mrx looper.

How about a review of the Mathew's effect's line - Cosmonaut, Chemist, Astronomer, Architect, I forget the name of the fuzz, I think it was White Wale.
