I can't believe her attorney's have not told her to stop doing that also staring the jurors down even when shes not talking she doesn't take her eyes off them. That would annoy the fuck out of me and make me so uncomfortable. Also when the defendant stares down the jury it can come off as jury intimidation

Not looking at her isn't a sign of guilt...it's a sign of contempt. He is disgusted with her and everything she has put him through. By saying he will never look at her again, I'm my opinion, is him saying she is the past and he's putting it behind him. Good for JD.

  • @Santisima_Trinidad

I think it's something to do with what they studied of ambers case before the trial began. And much like Johnnys team picked Camille for the cross examination of amber (however you spell her name) partially so it would be a woman interogating her, not some man that ambers PR team could try to spin as being a big man trying to intimidate amber or some such, Elaine was probably partially picked to interview Amber so it would appear as a woman talking to another woman about how she was abused, a true Girl power^tm strong independent woman^tm item. Of course, that was all dependent on Johnnys team not obliterating them from orbit, and Elaine, bless her, isn't as quick as she used to be in her younger days, she can't recover anything. Certainly not helped by Amber lying through her teeth about everything. Hell, she'd probably lie about Johnny having consensual sex with her so she could spin that into saying Johnny bassically raped her, despite her having actually had consensual sex with him on different occasions that she could try spin into lies about him bassically rapeing her.

I feel bad for them as well - especially because of her constantly addressing them! Where I live, people on the stand are instructed to NOT do that (it can be seen as juror harassment or intimidation). I’m pretty sure they’ll have the opportunity to go through all the transcripts. I’ve been a juror, and (in my country anyhow) the court transcript is automatically made available, along with all photographic or video evidence admitted, to a jury during deliberations. It’s a lot easier to get through in it’s written form.

A lot of people complain about how incompetent AH legal team is, but honestly, I don't think that's the case. I just think they have an extremely hard time defending her case because her story doesn't align with the evidence. I think this is the reason why her lawyers need to "lead" her in the questioning in order to make her version of the truth consistent, otherwise she will be caught in her own web of lies destroying her own case. And right now, the only breadcrumbs of evidence they have left to go by is "hearsay", because they can't counter argue the opposition. Which is why we hear so many objections... I mean, how is it even possible to protect AH version of this story at this point? I honestly believe that AH is so infuriated that she doesn't listen to her legal team's expert opinion anymore. (and hasn't done for a while). But I don't think it's their fault. AH is probably just really hard to work with.

I think AH’s team was leaning on the UK case that they won. That they would easily Win again. So their Trump Card if they were losing is lean on the UK case again and this trial thrown out. But the only reason AH team won that case cause the Judge assumed Amber Donated All her Divorce money to Charity. I don’t know but I assume AH team should of known that. Amber Heard fought hard to not have this trial on TV while Johnny also fought to have it on TV. So Johnnys Team changed tactics by using every Evidence they can get to overwhelm Amber’s Team.

I love that her lawyer is trying to imply that abuse is the reason she has scar tissue in her nose and has trouble breathing through it when she's obviously had a nose job to make her nose thinner. Of course she has scar tissue, she paid a surgeon to cut parts of her nose off and rearrange it. Sure she's got scar tissue in her cheeks too from those implants that are shining through, and her pictures of the little bruises under her eyes look extremely similar to the bruising one gets after getting filler. I thought that that little bit of "evidence" was going to be the only instance in which she tried to blame the damage done to her face via cosmetic surgery as proof of abuse, But now she's trying to convince us all that she has scar tissue in her plastic surgery nose that wouldn't be there unless she was abused. It's insane.

In most cases they have massive insurance coverage on their image related body parts Like say their nose or face or hands, vocal cords etc. there is no way I could believe that if AH got severely beaten, that there was neither a medical nor insurance related record to prove it. If those don't exist than its because the damage never occured.

She’s trying to form a connection with the jury, as though she’s telling her story directly to them. To create empathy. She kept trying to get the answers straight after objections and Amber kept pushing hearsay answers to the point the lawyer just stops and seems to be in deep thought contemplating her options, and when the judge gets her attention, she looks at her papers and just gives up. She probably realized all the rest would go the same way and there was no getting Amber to cooperate.
