Cool video - just so you guys know though, the "grappling hook cannon" works by replacing the upper receiver on an AR-15. Sorry to be "that guy" but just for information's sake: "The Can Cannon operates via a proprietary gas tube, with a blocking bar that prevents live ammunition from being loaded. When a blank is chambered and fired the proprietary tube diverts the high-pressure gas vertically into a larger tube. The volume of the larger tube reduces the high-pressure gas, preventing it from destroying relatively delicate projectiles like a soda can. When fired at an optimum angle (approximately 45 degrees) a soda can reach an average distance of 105 yards! The Cannon is designed to use military m200 blanks." Blanks do use gunpowder

When I was a kid I had a cap gun that loaded the red strips of caps. Despite the fact that it had the back end of the barrel sealed we discovered the force of the cap going off was sufficient to propel a pop corn kernel from the barrel. Back in the "olden days" we had "pop guns". Lever action toy rifles that just fired compressed air and made a noise (the original kind had a cork on a string in the end). We learned pretty quickly that jamming the barrel into hard dirt or gravel turned it into a real, live shotgun! Many a day you'd go home with cuts and bruises from small stones and occasionally someone would have a close call with an "all fun and games 'till someone loses and eye" episode.

Works great in the cold and good for cooking for larger parties 3 or 4 people as the heat output is significant. I love it. Ill never use a canister stove again as ive had to many issues in the cold. He had refused several offers for his design that ranged from Mattel’s to the Us Military and had not come to an agreement with any at his death. There are only 2 prototypes that I’m await of. His however looked more streamline and at first glance looked similar to a double barrel shotgun.

Some of those were just toys and not suitable for hunting or self defense at all. Those Rail guns don't fire a projectile with enough force to be used for hunting or self defense, they are pretty weak, they'd hurt if hit with them but that's about it. Anything that can launch a projectile near 100 meters per second or better is suitable hunting small game, you need about 150 meters per second or better to hunt something as large as a deer. Those PCP Air Rifles can be obtained that fire a .50 Cal. pellet or arrow, those are suitable for bigger game such as deer. They launch a 1/2" diameter pellet at 650 feet per second. Those pellets even come that explode and come with armor piercing, which will drive a slightly smaller projectile a few inches deeper upon impact. The Crossbow, without the leafs and the PCP Air Gun are your most lethal options in that video.

I have made a countless number and a variety of good decent enough homemade slingshots since I was 8 yrs old. I’m now 51. And still into the craft today. So far I can say I’m well satisfied enough with my own creations. Technically The main key to a good powerful slingshot lies in the quality of the elastic bands and the efficienciy of the projectile. The heavier and larger the projectile, the greater the damage it can inflict. The projectile must come in balanced harmony with the elasticity of the bands for the slingshot to be effective.

I seriously doubt that 1st air rifle can take a wild boar. And I mean SERIOUSLY doubt. Maybe with only the most perfect of shots on small ones. It's basically a very low power 9mm. I think it would be irresponsible to use that on anything bigger than small game.

The lancehead is not a "crossbow". The reason is simple, a crossbow when held vertically resembles a cross and is in fact a bow mounted to a stock and barrel frame structure hence the name "crossbow". So while the lancehead may use the same technology as a crossbow it is actually a Arrow rifle. My personal opinion is that if the Lancehead is a "crossbow" then so is the slingshot that shoots arrows because they all use tension to fire the arrows. It would be like sayin a pistol is a rifle or a rifle is a pistol because the both fire via a pin striking the cartridge to ignite gunpowder and launch the bullet. But we all know saying that would immediately be met with arguments from gun owners/lovers lol

Gotta remember that slingshots are about half as much power as you'd think, as you have no power input the moment the spring goes slack and that's normally about half the draw length. Also: that TC-45 isn't powerful enough for Australian wild boar, you need something that'll reliably go through the front of the skull at 50+m and you need a fast second shot just in case; our wild boars are 1/4 tonne and huge.

@kingofs7756 I lived in Germany for about 6 years. Before then, I was pretty ignorant to their gun laws. There was this antiques place in this town near where I lived at the time. They had a few Kar 98 carbines for sell for something like 700 euro. I got real excited cause I had wanted one for so long but started talking to the dude and he starts telling me the process Germans have to go through to own a gun. It was ridiculous, and the cost of purchasing it there to have it sent to America would have have easily cost several thousand euro. My best bet ended up being just buying one when I got back to the States.
