Alpha Males Don't Get Emotional

In this short video from a live Q&A with my private group of men who are growing stronger everyday in every way, we talk about how alpha male deal with emotions. Let me know what you think.
P.S. If you're interested in becoming a KING in your life (in fitness, business and with women) and want to join a group of like-minded men who are growing stronger everyday in every way in this degenerate age...
DM me with the word 'KING' on Instagram ( / elliotthulse ) - me and my team will get back to you with the details to see if you qualify.

I can honestly say my hardships with women have made me realize how stable I can be during a storm. My first breakup i spiralled hard and acted like a baby. The second one I handled like a man and it ended amicably. The third woman who I thought was “The One” ended up being a demonic nonsense machine. Being alone for a few months has made me realize I was settling for women who didn’t match up to my mission. A good woman follows her man because he is led by Jesus. Now that I’m back on my mission, I believe the correct woman will present herself for me to marry and be fruitful and multiply. Until then, I will crush my mission and follow God.

My father, and both of my grandfathers, were stereotypical, old-fashioned "alpha males" to the core (my 2 grandfathers have passed away but my dad is still the same way). I never saw any of them behave in an overly emotional way. My grandfathers were extremely stoic, rarely ever speaking or engaging in pointless conversation. They spent their days working in the yard, doing physical labor, and taking care of their families. I never once heard a complaint from either of them. My grandfather did concrete work, carpentry, and construction well into his 70s. He would work from morning until night, often outworking men half his age. I spent many days working in the yard with both of my grandfathers - digging holes in the garden, carrying heavy bags of dirt, doing woodwork, etc. My dad is the same way, he's owned a small business for 33 years and he is an extremely hard worker. I am so grateful for these men, but damn, it's sad to see how far men have fallen.

I've found that accepting my emotional state (not escalating it) is the best, and also reminding myself of stoicism; that you shouldn't worry about things outside of your control. If you repress something, it'll only get worse. I used to get really sad, but not able to cry which built up pressure inside me, because I either tried to run away from those feelings and distract myself, or I wanted to cry really badly without able to. Now I just try to be present, being aware as you say. Not forcing it nor repressing. I'm obviously not saying that you should make overly emotional decisions.

This is a great video Elliot. I’m going to go to tell you my life story because I’ve been watching your videos from strength camp and this channel. In 2015 I was in a snowboard accident that caused me to have a TBI (traumatic brain injury) and left me in a coma for a month. When I woke up from the coma, I had to learn EVERYTHING again from walking, talking, and even learn how to swallow again (since I had been getting food through a feeding tube). After going through this ordeal I had to learn to just worry about my self and to not care how people view me since there are some “disabilities” that I still have. Going through this experience has caused me to become far more religious because there are some things that have happened to me that are so unbelievable that it has caused me to have a stronger belief in God. I completely agree with you about being stoic and all of the other things that you said in this video. It’s hard for me to remember exactly what you said throughout this video since I was trying to figure out how I was going to say all the things that are in my head on this topic because I believe that I’m starting to ramble. The main thing that I would like to impart onto the people who actually take the time to read this comment is that to have a healthy and happy life, try your best not to worry about what others really think about you because does their opinion actually matter in the grand scheme of things? Not really because in the end we are all going to die and the real question is did you ever really live the life you wanted to? And if you aren’t living the life you wanted, what could you do to make it happen. The trick is to keep on moving forward one step at a time. To whoever read this all just know that you are loved and that it could always be worse.

Man, thank you Alex. I wish more people could see your comment bro. You just gave us a gem of insight, dug from a pit as deep as hell, but painstakingly cut to provide value to us, your brethren. You, more than most, know what its like to be an "other", to be viewed differently. To be seen as an x, y, z, and the rest of the alphabet for lacking x, y or z trait. People see the surface. And so this lesson that the opinion of others matters so little has been hard won in your life, and it has become your strength; it is a rock solid insight. This insight you can now share with your brothers. Thank you. Thank you for that insight. I hope you stay in touch with the Lord, and he directs your walk.

Showing your emotions is just an expression of that vulnerability trough the virtues of honesty, integrity, and courage. And you get people to listen more when you get mad at them. So can't say it always works to be stoic tbh. I think it's like that with women too at times and other stuff. I think depression in particular, I know this is probably a slightly different topic, I have been through a whole range of emotions to no emotion at all (a numb like emotion which was the most challenging of all) , and when I'm particular going through hard ship, I tend to suffer in silence because I'm too proud speak about it, is being too proud about holding my ground better in this case, because sometimes I fell embarrassed to speak about certain situations through a varity of reasons that go into my head.

Buddhism goes deep into the topic of the true nature of emotions as well as our senses. That is the right approach, don’t fall into feelings, don’t resist feelings. See them manifesting and understand them with detachment. Be mindful (aware) of them. “Catch emotions in the net of mindfulness, and then examine them before reacting.” This anger is not me, nor mine. It is just a mind state that like the weather will change. As you elevate yourself spiritually the roots of attachment will gradually weaken, and once you transcended you finally uprooted those "unwholesome roots" (Kleshah, afflictions of energetical parasites) from which all unwholesome mental states come from. Namely anxiety, fear, jealousy, and so on. Maybe you don’t realise it but from the perspective of Buddhism you are what we call a Bodhisattva. They are apprentices dedicating their life to uplift both themselves and others on the way to the ultimate reality. Good luck in your mission

What gets me a little emotional is the extreme lack of support. Put days, months, years into something just to get ignored and the girl showing her ass gets the attention. “Friends” that will support famous musicians they don’t even know and ghost my music I produced. It’s hard not to get mad at that. Just is a reminder I do this for me and not for anyone else. Cause if I did I would’ve given up on myself and fuck that shit

Fact of the matter is we need to be telling fellas that it's okay to have emotion replace those emotions in the right place. You can't expect to do great things in life if you're not even emotionally involved and what you're trying to do great. If a person wants to become valedictorian they have to become emotionally involved in order to make that happen do we tell that person to not be emotional? It takes a motion for man to take care of his family and to be a stand-up guy, it takes a motion to do so so do we tell the man who's emotionally involved in being a better man to not be emotional as well?...... there is no such thing as a person who lives like doctor spock He only used logic and reasoning without emotion but yet he was able to physically move now in the real world it takes a motion to move whether if that emotion is positive or negative is going to determine which way we go again in my opinion the only people who are alive on Earth who use no emotion or people that we consider vegetables and they show that in their actions by not being able to have Motion in their bodies at all

Well I don't need to do anymore work" haha🤣 Is there like actually specific things you should do to attract women like pickup (without the manipulation) or do you "allow yourself to be" in your masculine frame and let that attract the right woman? (I think, writing about it I found my answer but what's your thoughts?)
