'Allo ’Allo Cast Reunion @ MCM Birmingham 2017
“If in doubt, blow up Renee’s mother-in-law.” That was the secret of ’Allo ’Allo’s success, apparently. The actors who played Private Helga Geerhart (Kim Hartman), Lieutenant Hubert Gruber (Guy Siner), Herr Otto Flick (Richard Gibson) and Officer Crabtree (Arthur Bostrom) reunite 25 years after the series ended in 1992 to reminisce. And three of them turn up in costume. “I’ve lot the sid down,” says Bostrom. But then, he was always the newbie.

God Bless their little hearts, those of the cast who are no longer with us (sleep in piece in Gods arms). And also God Bless those who still remain. You all made comedy funny again, instead of the coarse sarcasm born of Monty Python (so-called ulternative comedy). Allo Allo and cast, quality humour at it's BEST. ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️🫡🫡🫡🫡🫡🫡😃😃😃😃😃😃
They’ve all aged rather well and I respect any actor who gives back to the fans like this.
Was so sad to hear that Gorden Kaye was very lonely in his final years, until he started to suffer from dementia a few years ago. :( R.I.P. This series never gets old. Priceless British humour at it's finest.

It's incredible how they have taken such good care of them selves. They look almost like they did almost 40 years ago . What is insane is that the war was 40 years before allo Allo.

mate this show was aired in Poland in late 90's. It was very popular here cause British sense of humour is very similar to Polish (Flying Circus is still a huge thing here and mr Bean would easily win should he ever tried to run for president) to this day it is my fave comedy series. I loved is as a child, then I grew up, learn the history and actually understand the humour and puns.. Then many years later I decided to learn another foreign language which was English. Now after I learn the language, lived in UK for few years I could watch Allo Allo in a proper way and fully appreciate the humour

I had had the Privilege of having dinner with them. I am part of a living history group and we put on our own event in august, and they came as the special guests. They were an absolute delight to work with. We were drilled by Flick and he never strayed from character. At the end of the drill, (in the parade ground) I fixed my bayonet. When I was asked why, I said 'they don't like it up them'. Flick replied ' that was the wrong show'. They are all wonderful. This is our website. www.battlereenactment.co.uk/

Thx for the Video for me MASH and this is just pure comedy thats why Im coming back to it.
That was lovely, thanks for sharing !!
What a fantastic show that was. I have the full set of dvds and whenever I feel sad I just take one episode and it cheers me up immediately. Something that was not said here and as a French man I must emphasize the fantastic way Gordon Kaye succeeded to take a french accent while speaking. It's a huge error to have dubbed the series in French for the French audience, it takes 50% of the whole flavor and wit of this extraordinary show. Also the writers made a perfect analysis of the French mentality and way of life of that sinister period where you had a very few courageous guys men or women taking enormous risks to oppose the occupation and sadly a majority of people who would try not to face things and of course worse who would collaborate.
Great to see them all again, but by God, that interviewer was dreadful!
@naly202

the interviewer is a complete idiot, isn't he? he messed up Guy Siner's name twice (and slightly annoyed Guy, still he carried on as if nothing had happened) he was dressed as if he were in his back garden fixing a fence. Richard Gibson even joked about his appearance, but he was too thick to get the joke. many of the questions he asked were pretty silly, you could see the actors were embarrassed.("it's not slapstick- it's farce"...e.g.) he had a very annoying attitude. STILL! the actors were superb! they saved the event and the day!

I agree. There are only a tiny tiny handful of comedy shows that you can rewatch over and over again and never get sick of and that will always make you belly laugh." Allo Allo" and "Fawlty Towers" were two of them. They definitely don't make comedy shows like they used to.
I'm glad some of them are still alive but GOD BLESS THE ONES THAT HAVE GONE ON BEFORE LOVE WATCHING THE DVDs have all of them
Series was never enough of these so talented comedians.
Love you everyone of you from Colombo God bless for making us happy and laughter
Here in Greece Allo Allo aired only once (as far as I can recall) back in the early nineties and having seen it as a young man I couldn't remember it very well other that it was a hilarious British show. Even if I had forgotten most of the story (we never had a rerun and if you missed an episode that was it) there was that scene with the onion sellers etched in my memory for years. "That fun show with the onion sellers, if I could only remember the rest". Then DVD's arrived and KZread and I can again see that genius of a show. Now as an older man I can appreciate the humor as brilliant and clean. And in a way as a excellent farce where everyone was a caricature, it wasn't offensive and I believe everyone can have a laugh now no matter from which part of Europe or the world you are.
