You're all a beautiful part of my childhood. Best sitcom ever. Thank you.

Recently rewatched clips from this show. I was a child when it was on. I’m now 45. Tremendous. So beautifully written and acted. I’d struggle to think of anything else that would make you chuckle and laugh out loud the same way. I love a wide range of comedy. This is just joyful.

RIP Gordon thank you for havin us in stitches all those years as well as the entire cast. I grew up watching Allo Allo when it aired here in Australia. I have the entire collection.

Gordon Kaye was without any doubt one of the greatest British comedy actors of all time. Allo Allo is my absolute favorite comedy series - I still watch it every week (!) on dvd and I have been doing that for many years now ! It's super relaxing & never fails to make me laugh, though I know every joke inside out..... All of the actors are like old & very dear friends to me and I'm always happy to see them ! :)

To all the actors of Allo Allo.whether alive or those in the memorial tombs.. you made us laugh.❤️🥀

Same here. Wish I could have been at one of the live recordings and shared the fun and the laughter with the rest of the audience.

I don't know if Gordon had many close friends, but he seemed to have been well liked. And it's always nice to have a joyful funeral, where people gather to remember happy things.

I used to love watching Allo Allo, Gordon playing Rene, a fantastic actor

I loved watching that show as a kid. Not as well known in the US. Every time I got a limp I still exaggerate my walk and say “Herr Flick von der Gestapo”

I had a work college, with German parents, who was the spitting image of Herr Flick right down to the same hair style and glasses. A very nice guy with with a gentle personality.

Allo Allo was such a big part of my life for so many years and after all this time I still can't pass up a re-run if I find it while flipping channels. And Gorden was the best. He and his mother in law were my favorites.

I saw it many many years ago , and in my country they started the series again . Still love to see it and i want the house to be quiet when i watch it. When Allo Allo is on the telly ... i feel at home :) RIP Rene , and thank you.

I HAVENT GOT ANY MATCHES :D to this day I still do not know how he got through such scenes without utterly cracking up and the timing of him and Carmen was just epic. Never forgotten. x.

It's so sad to watch all this wonderful people who I was watching and admiring in my favorite show as a kid, saying goodbye to one and only Rene. Time goes by too quickly, too imperceptibly.

It's so odd hearing them speak "naturally" in their British voices, and not with a German or French accent as in the show.

That show was full of excellent cast members and very funny.

In Yugoslavia they showed mostly UK high quality stuff and so I had the privilege to become an anglophile...

@@markharrison2544 a tabloid wanted to expose him being gay but when he had that terrible car accident- he was driving through a storm and a signpost impaled his head- no one gave a damn when the story came out ; the main concern was him getting out of his coma and returning to the show for S9- which almost didn't happen because he also suffered from memory loss

The world is a sadder place

Only just been watching this series for the first time at the age of 68. The late 80’s, the 90’s and 2000’s were a dark place so now catching up. The ice cream shaking episode was brilliant. Oh Yvette! (Sigh) 😍

Greatest tv show ever. Love that British humour and take on world war 2 era that destroyed almost humanity. I love the fact they devoted their life and career to making this tv show so great and comedic. I wish more shows can be made like this today instead we got snowflakes that gets offended by everything and everyone. Long live Rene Gorden Kaye, every single actor and actress, producer and writer that brought this tv show to life. I’m somebody that was born in 1990 and will always love this tv show. ❤
