Thank you Kyo for creating these videos; I still have to use them (newer player) and I learn a lot more about techniques from lower end squad videos than with AFK, although I hope to use AFK some day, maybe after I am luckier on future banners. @@erindor_ez same thing for me, I gave up on challenge mode, barely made it through normal s-5

so far worst event I've ever experienced. s-5 is true rng bs, I am tracing actions 1:1, watching where sprites of enemies are almost pixel by pixel and each time it is always different, few times already failed right on start where executer alter couldn't kill enemy on bottom and it leaks, placing gravel doesn't work, she gets killed fast, had so many situations where this shooting thingy had different timings, sometimes, again, executer alter doesn't provide enough damage and stuff fails. I don't really know whats the problem, all stats of executer alter are perfect match and no luck. screw it, it's a skip. thank you for the guide, though.

ZT-S-5 CM without mytrle S1M3 ( got only SL7 ) is nearly impossible ( cant deploy executor fast enough, needs too many executor crit) and fucks of the timing , i also dont have bagpipe

im not new player(start play in 2021) but still use low end squad guide cause lack of stronger b6 like skadi, thorns,blaze,mylnar, and exu... lot of s5 guide use them so yea..... using low end squad to clear the content is my only way

I had to redo the 3rd stage cm over n over, bcs my timing was so off that I got a bug/something where Witch King was about to teleport (when symphony begin/change) but was interrupted with the teleporting 2 units mechanism, which ended up in Witch King not teleporting away. 🙃

For ZT-S-5 i used Eyja for Pinecone and Matterhorn with Module(4 block) for Cardigan. With those 2 you don't need to worry about leaks on the right side at all and at the very end you can use Eyja above Executor to help clean up. The challenge mode took me quite a few tries, the timing is quite brutal.

I ended up not following the guide 1:1, only first part, I bringed saria and surtr to help me, I had so many close calls but finally did it. Now I have to repeat it on challenge mode and I already lost my balls and sanity to repeat this bs again.

Edit: Some peeps helped me in discord and got it :) My Cardigan dies pretty much instantly, is it because I don't have Pinecone? I tried putting Specter and even SilverAsh but the enemies swarm them (and I can barely even make it DP wise). :(

I feel kind of dumb for not thinking of pulling the drummers on S-3 into the holes because it made the stage a lot more manageable considering the conductors in the second half are dangerous enough on their own.

Update: I was able to finished ZT-S-3 last night with a different sets of Ops, with Thorn, Blaze, Surtr and Typhon being my DD for the boss, and instead used defenders as baits when I'm about to start attacking.

I know that this is probably not super useful info but tex or yato alter have a unique interaction for the witch king since their skills refresh when teleported, might help with the timings on stage 3 if one already has exalter on a lower level Also thank you for the guide kyo

Bro I’m struggling on s5 with bunch of elite 2 level 70 units

ZL-S-5 CM was just depressing, watching Cardigan die over and over and over and having no idea what I'm doing wrong. She's maxed out, Suss is E1L58 with S2 L7, Pinecone is E2L25 with S1 specialized, I'm playing on speed one with constant pausing, I use their skills with the same timing, I'm doing the reset trick with Pinecone. But over a dozen of attempts and I think Cardigan survived wave 1 three times, and she never survived wave 2. She just really wants to die.

Yeah, I can't complete ZT-5 CM. Too much RNG required. Executor keeps on dying at the beginning.

And also seeing the method for S 3 kinda make me chuckle- because I definitely not realized there was a lot of hole- and instead just brutally murder everyone everytime their lamp is not on.... and for the teleportation- idk I somehow not really noticed it except the first time lmao

Mylnar is not in S-5 as he usually is in these low end clears. That is because for some reason HG decided Witch King ignores deployment order when Mylnar is deployed. He will always be 1 out of 2 ops teleported when Witch King loses HP.

zt-s-3 was so awful but i got through 😢totally messed up the last phase but cuora + shining was able to stall long enough to buy me time. thanks doktah. edit: i cant believe i had to level up rope to clear a level 👿

Well, final round. Herkunftshorn threw everything he learned from his previous mistakes into our face, fitting for a final battle: + An evasive zigzag route to warp and wipe out ur home defenses on sight + Group of flutists and cellists saving his skin left and right the moment we think he expose opening (39:37) + Faster rate of teleportation (15s), courtesy of CM condition. (39:24 to 39:39) + All his men aggressively zerg rush to our base upon having yellow symphony, elite start taking turn to raid the center area, instead of all elites raid at once (39:24 and 41:08) => Little did he know, the more he learns from his mistake, the more coward he becomes. Cowards often die last, but not in the game of Tomorrow's Ark. Let's do this: - Peel off his defenses 1 by 1, choose ur laneholding position wisely: + Hold the backdoor lane westmost may give ur dps more opening to attack WK in 2nd phase, but risking the center area from being raided, *vice versa when near the north blue box* . Regardless of laneholding position, when WK's abt to reach turret range, give him a warm welcome: Simultaneously slash his cellists to piece and prepare ur dpses and decoys to deal ~80k turret, be4 the elites save his skin. + End the phase one at your own risk, since to prepare for phase 2, concentrate firepower on the center area instead due to more enemies swarming there - u also need a 3 block unit to hold the trash mobs. If you're ready to get past 23/86 kills, then let's dance to the last of his symphony! + His 2nd phase *prevent true dmg* from reaching him , while at the same time play an *unstable 15s symphony* out of fear for being turned tables (46:04 to 46:24) => If he insist on being that coward, then let's play by his rules. Start ur dps *skills upon reaching the yellow symphony* , vice versa with purple one, since: though WK's wind player hit harder during purple sheet, they run slower, giving ur units time to charge skills (46:50). Groups of them rushing and ramming ur defenses to a bloody pulp during yellow symphony proved to be more dangerous. Rinse and repeat till he dies along with his music.

It's really fun to watch Kyo's low end guides, especially now that I have a more well built account with high rarity operators. These low rarity guides always reminded me of the early days
