Hello! Roamer user here, and I'm going to give some various little tips. I've tried all of the various tank heroes and even fighters with a tank emblem and build, such as Chou, Guinevere, Minisithar, Yin, etc. As for you solo players, I know Tigreal is good for the set-ups alongside Atlas and Gatot, but they're too predictable in higher ranks. It's only good if either Diggie is banned or you're the one on the last pick, you know how to bait, and there's a yin to your team. Though Chou is really good, he's weak against Minsi and Ruby users when not used well. This also implies that those heroes, such as Alice, Terizla, and Setter Tank, So it's sometimes best to save your second skill when necessary. So when you set, be sure that your team kills the enemy as soon as possible, or when the enemy tank has no SS when it's a tanky one, or else that it can counter set. Using Chou's ultimate is also good to kick away the enemy to save your teammates, securing objectives such as lords, turtles, etc. When using Chou, do remember that when you clear some waves, don't immediately use your second and first skills unless the enemies are visible on the map or far away from you. Tank users should know when to retreat, gank, bait, annoy, help the core, give vision, go to each lanes, taking the damage, etc. Sacrificing is good, but having zero deaths can be crucial at midgames or lategames when you're killed due to how high the enemies can get. When using tanks, don't feed too much or play too passively. Atlas is a squishy tank, so it's better to provide vision while hiding in the bush to surprise the enemy with a set. Atlas second skill is one of the most important skill he has, so be sure to know when it can reach the enemy! I know this one's different and unusual for some tank users. But DONT BABYSIT the MM USERS at the whole game! INSTEAD, focus on helping your CORE, and MAGE. Help in the midlane so you can level ASAP for the turtle. This is the reason why pro-tank users at the tournament don't always babysit the MM unless it's a hero that can heal. I know this may sound harsh, but a tank must prioritize helping those they think are good enough instead of helping all their teammates at the early stages of the game. MM USERS are only helpful at late games in solo ranks, period! I've had a lot of MM USERS that I've played with, and they do little damage in the early game. Once it's late game, do be sure to protect every member of your team, especially the one who has the highest damage. Guarding the MM users can always be predictable, so it's sometimes best to provide them with some visions on the bush and check the bush first instead of helping clear the minion waves! Because once the enemy knows that you're helping or that you're with the MM clearing at the gold lane, they're going to Gank the other lanes, and especially the EXP and Core! Instead of ganking the enemy MM every time, do annoy the enemy's EXP lane so your EXP teammate can help in team fights! When your team blames you, just mute them and ignore them. Trash-talking them won't be a good thing in the game since typing would take your time and mentality. If there's a hero that has a high attack speed, such as Claude, Miya, Hanabi, Nathan, Moskov, etc., it's good to use lolita, and especially an aggressive Belerick who chases the MM users when necessary. If you have Arlott on your team, pick any comfort hero's you like since it's a meta hero. But, ahem, it's good to use Akai if you know how to use it well. Mino is good for solo ranks due to its annoying skills and heals. But the ultimate can be too predictable and easy to dodge for dash heroes. So who's the best to use on solo ranks? It depends on YOU. BUT FOR ME, GROCK is the best tank at the solo game. It's a double-edged hero, so do use the second skill properly. Though its defense isn't good for mages, it's tanky AF. Why is it the best for me? The reason is that it can delay the enemies creeps and your creeps; the wall can also delay your lord so that your three lanes can attack the enemies base at the same time; delay the enemies lord so that your team can protect the other lanes first, making it more difficult for the enemy teams to defend and push harder; not only can it delay, you also use the wall so that only one creep will take the enemies turret wave clear thingy, leaving the leftover creeps destroying the tower; block the enemies pathway; disrupt their movement; it's also good against Nana or any heroes that have CC with skills; Grock is really good against Nana's annoying skill, or any heroes that has CC with his first skill, so grock is really GOOD when checking bushes when near the walls. Grock's damage is high, especially in the early game, so it's good at ganking the enemy jungler or core. Grocks Ultimate, along with a flicker, is unpredictable, so the enemy side can't dodge or use their purify. And say bye-bye to enemy Diggie users; they're annoying.

Go edith guys, she flexes on most roles so even if you go exp, roam or gold shes still usable + shes OP currently with the new thunderbelt since each stack gives her 7 magic damage during her ult so basically at mid to late game when u have 20+ stacks its like a free holy crystal

Mostly full cc tank are squishy like Atlas, Franco , Tigreal and Edith because they are suitable for ambush and gank While for lack hard cc tanks like Hylos and Belerick they are good for opening map and tanking dmg, plus their hp are high enough So it depends on your gameplay and your team, enemy composition Yeah i also agree with you

kaja isnt a good solo roamer. Atleast in sout asia server

Not in eu server either. He's in desperate need of a buff; he's supposed to be a support/fighter, but is currently bad at both.

The best roamers for solo are the ones that can punish the enemy even by yourself since your teammates are just THAT awful, that's why mage and assassin roamers like helcurt and selena are gaining popularity That and the recent updates just tilts in their favor

@@Inmiey27 unlike other assassin roamers like Selena and helcurt saber can't do anything after performing his combo helcurt can still kill without ult and has short skill cooldown plus his broken passive same as helcurt Natalia don't rely to much on a single skill like saber while Selena can stun enemies again and again because of short skill CD

True it is harder to check bushes, but overall as a roamer main, I would leave most of the damage absorbing to the exp laners since they can sustain themselves. If im playing a cc roamer I just hide in bush, get someone and let my team kill them, Im not gonna take unnecessary damage since that would just make me recall and it would be a 4v5

I love how he plays chou in this clip. No wierd combos, simple but effective, and most importantly, it works.

Chou , Helcurt , Selena, Jawhead, ZhuXin, Edith are some of the best solo roamers right now. Roamers without damage sucks since your teammates are trash.

@@fancygamer2435 , His ult can be reduced the cd with item.... His flicker can cd can be reduced by PYT talent.... clearly people know nothing about how Kaja was very useable now.... The only thing Kaja need is to have a skill speed boost, like Conceal have and it is an assurance to be top pick.

Best solo roam is definitely Minsitter. I use Thunderbelt on him along with weakness finder and corrosion scythe and petrify. Makes enemies slow once I get them inside my ultimate. And since I use Thunderbelt Minsitter’s guards can also use thunderbelt’s passive and slow enemies more. And since Ministter can pull in enemies, his passive also damages surrounding enemies so getting 2 or 3 of them together is a nightmare. He’s a very good counter to Nolan and popular marksmen like Mellisa. The only problem about Minsitter is when enemies are spread out and not inside the domain.

Cicilion and valir are my go to pick bro ❤

Minsithar is one the best soloq roam from my experience He can use either tanky or damage build and can kill enemy alone. With damage build he's very good at defending late game minions and push while still being able to make good setup with ult + flicker like other tank roamers

Minsithar is not that good in early game until he gets his ultimate. Before he was a great roamer due to his skill 2 stunning the enemy but now his skill 2 is easily avoidable and if the enemy goes behind him he can't even attack them using skill 2 . And the ultimate also last only 5 second unlike before it was 8 sec. But his skill 1 is good now. And he struggles in early game due to low damage and no mobility

i tried roamer yin and it was pretty fun.

the lasso on brody was personal 💀

Y'all can also try roam minsi, it's really good in 1v1 situation and helps a lot in clash especially that they can't dash out and stuns them, and also good for poking and can abuse thunder belt

Khufra is just.... underperforming currently, and this can be proven by RRQ Akira, Entity 7 and FNATIC ONIC CHOKING with a Khufra on MSC 2024. Tig and Mino are just good enough though

Try chip and carmilla roam those two are pretty tanky. I'd say carmilla would be a tankier than mino Or khufra. Also chip has his skill 1 shield which if you utilize properly you get a ton of shield

Kaja franco dyroth and Lesley are my go to hero, for rest of them i had to use my brain or else I'll be feeding 😅

Hylos is a absolute menace

In this season I started to switch towards more indipendent roamers, like Carmilla, Jawhead or even Silvanna, the reason being they can actually solo fight the enemy mm or mage (sometimes even jungler) if your team is terrible.

Roam silvanna is actually underrated. You can lock down meta heroes like roger and moskov easily

Still Chou Roam is the Great Roamer for SoloQ for me. It was proven after the indirect buff from the Tbelt, Fleeting Time, and Twilight Armor. They're the game changing items for him.

I hate squishy roamers For me a good roamer should give vision, stay frontline soaking in the damage and giving backlines time to counterattack Natalia,Chou and all the other roamers suck in solo que because your teammates won't always pick the tanky exp laners or junglers You end up feeding especially if you first picked a mage that's heavily reliant on frontliner to even position

I don’t know why anyone would pick Kaja instead of Atlas. Kaja grabs just one enemy, Atlas grabs all. Even though Kaja’s ult is supression, most of the time it’s not a big difference, and Atlas’ ult is much more efficent.

I think that Chou and Kaja's ult range are kinda same but I'm more confident on Chou. There was once a match when I rarely landed a hit on Kaja's ult. Still we won.

Kaja has his 2nd skill and flicker to be close and be able to use his ultimate while Chou has his 1st skill, 2nd skill and flicker to connect his ultimate.

40-45% CDR tank Kaja can maximize the passive and still pack a punch. At least, based on my own gameplay.

The best roamers for solo Q are the ones who can take damage and deal damage (in case your team is weak..) like : Hylos, Hilda, Gatotcaka and Carmilla

Soloq = it doesnt matter I can pick zilong roamer and still win then pick strong tnk like grock still lose

The problem with Kaja is he only has his suppress ulti for so called support.. he not even can sustain in war

Franco if missed 1st skill is useless in fight tho. Better pick aoe tank who can get more than 1 enemy in good cc

i don't understand how mathida's skill 1 works.

For my solo RG roamer recommendations, I recommend Grock because not only you can build BOTH tank build and DMG build and get away with it, but also, you have no problems checking bushes because of the 1st skill + wall synergy and you can zone/reset objectives with your wall, Chip because you unli-spam your enhanced basic ATKs, deploy portals and you changed the tides of the battle, Arlott because you can easily close the gap + do a 5 man set and still do decent damage, Chou because as a pickoff roamer, his flat defense reduction allows him NOT ONLY hit even harder despite using an full tank build, but also his allies as well and he has HEAVY mobility to close gaps and his kick is just a powerful tool for picking off single target, Edith, well, because once she's outside Phylax WITH full Wrath, she goes rampant because of extra DEF to magic power conversion and ATK SPD and hybrid lifesteal scaling with Wrath when Edith is outside Phylax and.... HC because he's literally Natalia but from the Barren Lands that has surprisingly good utility for an pure assassin and HEAVY DMG to burst down targets BUT your best bet is, pick HC or any other DMG roamers other than Grock when you have tanky sidelaners or junglers. That way, your hero pool for solo RG will improve and also improve your winrate

Moonton really need to revamp a hero that have less pick like kaja and not granger since he is the most underrated and less pick hero i haven't seen a player use kaja even in mythic and not to always let the community choose who needs revamp since by doing this it might change the meta
