When I completed that quest line in Shadowlands, it answered two questions for me. Where and how did the Light learn Necromancy and where the Primus learned Domination magic. Remember he learned it from someone else and that was the Light. Think back to Legion and what Xera was doing to Illidan, that was Domination magic it was just that his will was too strong for her. The Primus taught the Light how to do Necromancy giving us Calia and they taught him Domination magic.

Azeroth is either THE Old God (the others are just parts of the whole of Azeroth and needed to be defeated to be brought back into her) or she's THE queen elemental force combined with all elements and when we go back in time in Dragonflight to restore the bronze flight aspect stone, we see Azeroths elementals fighting against the old gold back during the black empire. (The scene when all the old gods are whispering to you and the last one as you leave says "You will soon hear the song. Our song. Ringing from deep within."

How possible is it that time and light magic are very intertwined? If we go off color theory, they're both very similar colors, light being a gold color, and time being a bronze color, both on the yellow spectrum. I also wonder how light magic does it's healing. Is it possible that it simply reverses time in a pocket on your body to before you were hurt? Maybe that's how resurrection works too? The light sees only one timeline, where void sees many timelines. Maybe the light is capable of reversing time on someone to before they were killed. Also think about the similarities between Bronze Dragons that control time, and the infinite dragonflight. Nozdormu had a moment where he could only see into one timeline right? And the infinite can see into well... infinite. Doesnt that sound similar to the light and the void? Also once again, Light = Gold, Time = Bronze (both yellow spectrum), Void = purple or that cosmic blue, Infinite = light blue (Both blue spectrum)

Magic uses energy, whether it's elemental or cosmic. But, there's also an intention that guides the use of it. Why did Tyranda need to become the Night Warrior, couldn't her vast magic deal with what needed to be done? She wasn't strong enough in her own use, she needed a "boost" to get to that level, so she invoked the Night Warrior and, in doing so, almost cost her everything including life. Magic doesn't judge who uses it, but there's a reaction to using it that makes that intention something to be wary of. It's why Thrall and Anduin are having trouble right now, they lost that belief in the ability they have to manipulate the energies to accomplish the goals. Both are struggling with thinking they're maybe going to use it the wrong way and get hurt. So, the energy doesn't translate into the magic they use, it's a dry well right now. The magic that Tyranda uses is the same as the magic that Ellisand used in Suramar. Both were pulling from the same energy pot. But they manifest differently because of the user, not the energy. What is the difference between the magics of Thrall, Anduin, Baine, Callia, Sylvanas (both before and after), Gul'dan, Wrathion, and Neltharion? It's all the same pot of energy, but it's the intent that each has, the values and morals they have in that use that makes it different. Fel is a corrupted value of the energy that Thrall uses. The dark energy that Sylvanas was slinging in BfA and the light energy that Anduin was slinging are both out of the same pot, but their beliefs, morals and intentions are different...vastly different. It's all in how you work with it.

In the cosmology map, you have "reality" (represented by Azeroth) in the middle. As you read the map from the outside in, you notice the forces converging to our reality/Azeroth/balance. What I'm proposing is to analyze it from the inside out. All these forces stemmed *from* reality/Azeroth/balance and are straying further and further away. That's why the furthest powers (like Void Lords) cannot manifest in our reality, they strayed too far.

Oh yeah I’ve long believed these forces aren’t converging to make Azeroth, but that she is actually their source. There’s even books in the game as recent as 10.2 that propose the idea that she is the source of everything. I have a few videos on it if you do a little digging!

If this is true, which it really sounds like it is, it makes me really curious about the light. If the light is just using this power a certain way to make it seem like its own power (the light), then why are we able to have different light entities who use the light for different reasons? X'era and the scarlet crusade come to mind, but we also know that paladins are able to use the light for good. If they are both manipulating this same power for different reasons then wouldn't it manifest as different 'cosmological powers'? But then I think about the Void and how most God-like light beings that we see turn to the void given enough time. Perhaps the Light uses this power/energy in a way that makes it able to spread farther and faster across the cosmos and have their followers be more loyal than any others, but with a side effect of sorts that will always eventually convert the light powers into the void powers. I'm not sure how correct I am on this, but something in our cosmos still doesn't add up even if every force draws from the same energy.

I think Light is the manifestation of the base power when faith is the main catalyst. In every case I can think of, the Light is wielded by people who have a strong belief that what they're doing is right, moral and justified. This lets the naaru use it, it lets the Scarlets use it, it lets normal paladins use it. But when they start to doubt, their ability to connect to the Light falters. It's not that it's being cut off, it's that they stop being able to use the energy in a form we'd interpret as light. I wouldn't go so far as to say void is the opposite and is the manifestation of doubt, but it seems to be tied to a more chaotic way of thinking, a messier mind - you might still believe what you're doing is right, but you are now making justifications to yourself that what you are doing is right, until you believe it, as opposed to earnestly believing in what you are doing.
