I can remember when a young Alison Krauss was so shy, she could barely look at the audience and was not able to get any words out. No banter at all between songs. We all wanted to run up on stage and give her a hug. I have seen Molly Tuttle go through the same transition. It's great to see them now, relaxed, shining brightly, and having fun -- getting the recognition and appreciation.

Even as a bushman guitarist in the deep north of Australia's Arnhem Land NT, I can recognise a singer whose voice flows up from the land itself. Allison you are rare treasue.

Alison Krauss has such a beautiful pitch perfect voice that just moves me whenever I hear her sing. Jerry Douglas has to be the best Dobro player ever. So well done.

When you hear someone who is actually in tune all the time, it really makes you appreciate the talent.

If krauss Alison is a respectable American lady in her dress and manner of singing, her voice is a grace that engenders love, nostalgia, affection and originality coming from the American depth based on folk music that can be adapted to any rhythm and style of singing. God bless you.

She will never know the comfort and feelings she has brought to me. God bless her and guide her.

It doesn’t get any better than this. A stage full of super talented people and then there is Alison Krauss who is in a league of her own. A great song by Paul Simon but the tempo change and the magic of Jerry Douglas’ playing is just magnificent. I’ve listened to this numerous times and love it. Well done by all.👍👍🇨🇦

Most musicians will tell you that much of the movement they employ with their music is a visible manifestation of the "shape" the music takes for them... That's the best way I can describe it; I don't have half the voice she has, but I do the same thing both when singing and when playing the piano :-)

@@pdxwill8524 and, to continue on old news, the health issues were announced in 2017 (assuming you are referring to dysphonia). A new album of her and Robert Plant is to be released anytime now. Obviously no shows have been planned recently due to COVID.
