I really liked your sketchbook videos and still do. My favorites are Dana Terrace's sketchbooks. After she graduated from SVA (and I guess you can't make videos of her sketchbook due to inconvenience... we all understand) I don't get inspired as much as her vids did. Not because the other students are not as good (they're all really so talented.) It's just that so much artistry and craft or whatever are evident. I guess it's her style that I'm referring to. Now I'm glad you have Alexa's and Matt's (and now they're dating. WOW) and they both remind me of Dana's work. They're all just so good!

Alexa, stay shy-and quiet-it's one thing that makes Matt a lucky guy! ;-) (The Matt that you're dating, though your teacher is lucky, too!) I realized that in other videos, the artists are quiet, too. Another reason for a new camera! :-) Thanks for sharing-both of you.

Alexa, great sketchbook! I guess you're as shy as I was in college. ;-) That is great, too, but you should speak up in these videos so an old guy like me can hear you. :-) Matt, you should really invest in a little video camera. You can get a very good one for less than some iPhones these days! Pop that on a tripod or copy stand and you can do these sketchbooks justice. They'll be even more fun to watch. Heck, you'll save a lot of energy since you won't have to apologize for the video, so it will be good for the environment, too!

Hi Matt it's better with light drawings you photograph it then go to edit and there's a wand hit it it will make the drawing pop out better . Hope it helps :)
