Its been 8 years since i watched these.

I have been watching these videos for years and really lost my passion or desire to draw through college and in my early 20's. Coming back here after slowly getting back into it has been so inspiring. It's great seeing the work these students put into their sketchbooks.

SO hyped to see these sketchbook videos back!!!! I used to watch these all the time a couple years ago to get inspiration for my own sketchbooks

there's a book called "Jüdische Portraits" by Herlinde Koelbl. it has interviews and portraits in it and I really like the way they are photographed. All kind of influential Jewish people talking about their experiences. My grandma owned this book several times because every time she went to the book store she wanted it and forgot that she already bought it. it's a bit older (published in 1989), so a lot of the people photographed are probably already dead. Really interesting portraits to draw as a reference. If Locke likes this kind of stuff maybe she can find a used version or look up the photographer...I don't know how well available it is in the US, but Koelbl did teach in the US so I think you could probably find it at least online.
