I believe he went to LA the night before to queue up and he did mention he didnt sleep the night before audition and perhaps nowhere to freshen up before the audition. He didnt sell his sob story why he didnt sleep the night before.

Alejandro appeals to a broader fan base (with regards to age, race, ethnicity, music genre) than most singers so I truly believe that he will do well not only in the US but internationally.

Uuhh... Yes Better than Keith Urban. Alejando creates notes on the guitar that no body else can. His style and speed in which he picks the guitar is almost impossible for even a great guitarist like Keith to copy. On the other hand Alejandro can easily hit Keith's notes on the guitar. I know this because I am a professional guitarist for over 10 years. Also all professional guitarist have made the same comments publicly. Alejandro is a phenomenon. But it would be great to see them both play together.

Having been part of the Rochester, NY International Jazz Festival for years, tons of notes aren't the only thing that impress me. Guess we can agree though, that they are BOTH very gifted. Yes? Ever seen Keith's Devil Went Down to Georgia video clip with is flying fingers? Wishing Alejandro lots of loving success!

Yes I can definitely agree with you on that! Keith is one of the best I have ever heard and seen play the guitar. In the musician world we do compare these things unfortunately sometimes but it's no knock on others talent. Keith is super great and I think his mind would be blown away if it hasn't already been yet by Alejandro's skills. Either way both of them jamming together I would pay $$ to see.
