Beautiful and so humble

Some people aren't able to appreciate the ultimate Alejandro experience which makes me sad for them. But for the rest of the world, we are transformed by his heart warming, mesmerizing, and soulful performances time after time.

I follow Alejandro not American idol and Alejandro has changed my life...he has added valued to my life and changed some negative habits i had....for this I will forever be grateful and will follow and support him until the end....winning American idol will just be a stepping stone...he is bigger than the show heck Alejandro is the show....I have never ever watched a talent show neither has my family and Alejandro changed all of that in a minute of him playing his guitar and singing...to me he is a winner already 🤓💪👍🐊🐊❤️🐐💎.

Hi Alfredo, I have the same question as another. I totally agree. Sometimes, I can see clear as day a quality (or group of qualities) in another person/stranger that draws me in to the point where I just immediately gravitate towards them and then, stand in awe. It’s like mesmerizing but in a totally positive way. Like I said, I am just wondering what it is about Alegendro which you feel has made your life better? And, maybe even more importantly and because of the fact that I am truly looking to change a couple of things myself, I am wondering what negative things he has inspired to change? Thanks so much 🙏

Alejandro has what it takes to win. His style, his original songs, how he plays his guitar, how he writes, that's what has me coming to hear him. Playing all his videos, he practically wrote his first album. Lets give him the credit he deserves. He surely has owned up to it. Alejandro for the win!

American idol didn’t changed Alejandro but instead he is changing AI to a different level of audition where having a strong voice will no longer be enough. People are looking for something different outside what have been the norm for last 17 years in AI and Alejandro is breaking that mold.

Alejandro is an artist and will be on stages all over the world.

He won. No 4 year contract with shitty pay at 15% royalties. Alejandro is on his way straight to the stars and some. He got the boost he needed through AI and is on his way. Good luck homie, the universe is supporting you all the way.

alejandro is gonna be very famous.! he is one of a kind. honestly, I cant even tell you what lane sung or played.

He deserved to win, but I'm glad he didn't. He would have been tied down to a Disney contract, and that would've prevented him from truly being himself. I'm grateful American Idol gave him the opportunity, we might not have ever heard of him.

Enormous talent! He landed exactly where he should be--his music has been given a place in the spotlight but he doesn't have the obligations of being the winner. I haven't been a fan of American Idol but I'm grateful for bringing this talent to the fore.

Dishwashing is a distant past. He is so gifted that we will hear from him for many years. He needs help or therapy in dealing with all the attention and coping with flying. Yes, the show is often a huge disappointment that way. Somebody who is massively talented like Alejandro or Adam Lambert comes in second to a far less talented 'vanilla' performer. I'm a fan of Alejandro and what he is trying to do.

Artists as multifaceted 💎 talented like Alejandro are few and far between. He also appeals to all age groups and my future grandchildren will be enjoying his music as much as I do and loving this phenomenal artist❤️

As a guitar player, I just find it hard to believe that he is so extremely proficient in his piano playing and guitar playing for only playing for about 4 years. It takes years and years to move hands and fingers the way he does. Very smooth, precise and sharp. Maybe he got serious about playing publicly 4 years ago?

He has said that his parents made him go to piano lessons as a kid but hated it and didn’t go. But, he only picked up the guitar 5 years ago. He did say he practiced 4 to 5 hours a day since he picked it up. That’s dedication and love for music!

In case your wondering how I know...I attended his performance/interview at the Grammy museum and that was a subject that was discussed. He also credited KZread for helping with his piano playing.

Alejandro is a genius. He has written many songs & he performs them his own way. He puts his own touch to cover songs, he does not imitate another artist or their songs. His instruments are all he needs, to perform. He is very entertaining as himself, his own concert. The critics are acting the same as people reacted to Elvis Presley because he was so different. Same with Alejandro, he is different, that is what is so great about him. Singers win the American Idol, as Katy said "karaoke" songs. Alejandro is himself. His songs, his music, his vocals & his style. I loved it when the orchestra all had on beanies during his finale performance. Not being #1 is a blessing, now, he has the freedom to perform wherever as himself. They have Laine Hardy all over the place since he's won. He said wanted to be with family, that he had missed being home & I hope he has gotten to be with them.

Nazik Bookmakh 1st place would suck because of the contract and crappy pay, Alejandro is the real winner.

Alejandro is an artist uniquely, gifted. A. I. telling him he's a winner does not determine that the man does. They gave you the platform to present your gift to the world. So now Alejandro your free to be you without all those strings attached.

I love this man & his music as much as Beck, David Gray, Bruce Cockburn, Cat Stevens, Dan Fogelberg... some of my all-time favorites.

Alejandero is extremely gifted and refreshingly original. As a guitarist myself, playing and performing for 56 years, I especially appreciate his open- tunings and tasty hammer on riffs - even while singing! His piano is amazing too. He may expand his vocal range with time, but it is very enjoyable to listen to as is. Somebody mentioned Dan Fogelberg and Cast Stevens as comparisons, but I thought of Kenny Rankin and James Taylor. Also, he can write, arrange, compose songs for other singers, too, which may become a huge outlet for him. Congrats to Laine Hardy. I see him as a headline cover band in Vegas or Tahoe, but hope he gets some original material to showcase his unique 'gravely' voice and develop. American Idol is not really a karaoke singing contest, but a venue for true original talent to develop. I can't remember what happened to Adam Lambert's opponent, and likewise I'm sure we'll be hearing from Alejandro for a long time.

I wanted to see him win and he definitely deserved to win but I'm glad he didn't, being in runner up or 2nd place will give him more of his own choices and won't be held to a contract to do this cheesy kind of stuff that would be in the contract of winning AI and that's definitely not Alejandro, he is the kind of unique artist that has to do his own stuff and not be told how and when to do it, that along with alot of heart breaks is what got him to where he needs to be he is now discovered and I don't understand what took so long he probably just wasn't around the right people to help him get noticed but then again he said himself he played and sang music because he loves it and it helped him go to a beautiful place it was an escape from reality, but anyway I love everything about Alejandro he has amazing taste in lyrics and his own sounds 👌 I will be a huge fan forever 🙏🎶🎤👏💖 #Alejandronber1Homie

I am so glad that Alejandro did not win American Idol. Because he did not need to be tied down with a contract as a winner. Coming in second place was a good thing for him. I wish him all the best. He is talented and humble and I hope remains that way. Listening to him has been a real blessing. Nowhere to go from here but up.

Alejandro is by far the top artist in the show. He is better off not winning because he wouldn't be comfortable with the things the show would want from him. Being on the show and being runner up will be a tremendous boost for him and now his career will begin on a whole new level and the exposure will serve him well !!
