Interesting. I spent 10 years with a Narcissist who was lying and cheating on me. He was abusive as well and convinced me I was the issue. For years, I loathed myself because I did not feel good enough. But, I finally had the strength to leave him. So, this song is a gift.... 10 years!! I get it Alejandro... ALL of the lies he said. You can tell the audience is in a trance and fully listening to the words and sounds coming from this man. This is his moment. Absolutely magical.

That's how sofar sessions work... it's just guys listening to these stories, emotions and original music. I stopped listening to the mainstream music and go to these sessions like sofar for 2 years now. You'll be impressed. There are sessions all over the world. Like sofar, London, sofar NY, sofar Cape town, etc.

The jet in the background can't even overshadow him. It just melts into the music.

Every few years there is a band, artist, ect.......that produces a sound in such a way that is different to our audible reception. This cat is exactly that. You take any song done by another artist, and give it to AA let him rearange it, and you have a new sound. Floyd.........ELO..........they were new sounds to us, then all went mundane, TILL NOW. Rock on dude.

My new favorite artist !!!!! .........I've been diagnosed with PTSD some time back because of my time in combat ,so having said that , I don't really like to do many things. On my times to reset my mind and my feelings of fighting this dark passenger that I carry with me every day and every moment , I love to smoke a good cigar and listen to music that takes me to a better time in my life . I don't really listen to new artist due to the fact that most artist are just fabricated by record labels for the masses that fallow a trend ....but when I heard Alejandro , by accident mind you. Alejandro's voice soothed me . its like his spirit in his voice pressed that internal button in me that resets my mind as well as those aggressive feelings because of PTSD. Its a spiritual thing for me to listen to him , I hope this young man continues to grow as an artist and on popularity ........I predict that in this near future he wont be that gold nugget that you feel belongs just to a few that have listen to him , he will belong to the masses and that will make me happy as well . My God bless him and his talent ...he has made me happy and takes me to a better place with his music and talent .

I mean thank you for allowing me to experience your soul. You keep me inspired, brother. You are my all time favourite performer to grace the American Idol stage. Hands down, wow. Please make an all acoustic guitar and vocal album and sell it online. So I can feel this happy all the time. There are music artists that sing and then there is you. When you perform I feel a happiest like no other. And I don't get that from just any artist. Only certain artists artist can move me the way you do, like James Taylor, Jim Croce, early Bob Dylan, early Simply Red, Elton John (just his and piano). And now you are added to this list, Alejandro Aranda. Thank you, please, tour Australia, I will be front row to anything you perform, man. You are simply greatest. Its good to know that there are still real artists like you out there that only need their vocals and a guitar. Talent is a under statement. You need to be on tour with people like Elton John, Ben Harper, James Taylor.

There's just something about this with him playing live with all of the outdoor noises. Puts you in a certain mood. Between joy and sadness. Hopeful and nostalgic. I just come back and play his songs when my mind is out of whack.

Sorry for my interruption but i dont really think it's a God given talent. I really believe in what he said in his audition in American Idol, "i don't really think I'm special, i think im just hard working", every song he play he makes it his own version not a cover, he is an really smart musician and an song writer. I truly believe that he is an musical genius.

I'd give anything to be close to him, to hear him speak. For him to touch the keys and strings of my heart. Just to smell him, to feel his presence. I am madly in love what can I say? He's every bit as gorgeous as Elvis or any heart throb since, but it's his music and lyrics that have stolen my heart.

Also, every recorded performance I've heard of this so far (5 I think-- AI, Instagram, youtube here, youtube another link, and Amazon music)-- EVERY single time he changes something, usually several sections. This is probably the most different version I've heard. I wonder if he's changing it on the spot or if tries it out much beforehand each time. I get the idea he's improvising on his own songs, re-arranging them on the fly.
