Al Snow is an actual wrestling expert unlike the incredibly deluded Meltzer. Snow has been a wrestler, producer, trainer and I think also a booker across multiple promotions in his career. "Expert" Meltzer can't even tell when he's commenting on a Triple H interview which is ten years old.

As a musician, it’s similar to playing guitar. You might be able to play the most intricate solos from other people, and be the best shredder and play every yngwie malmsteen song, but can you write a song or a hook that people want to listen to? Can you start small and slowly progress to that big ending, that big payoff that keeps the listener engaged? Or are you just doing a 3 minute shred fest? It’s cool and all, it takes talent and a lot of hard work, im not saying it’s easy. But at some point it’s like ok well there’s no substance, nothing to grasp onto. And yes, I know there’s a market for that, again I’m not saying that won’t get you anywhere, but there is a cap on how far you’ll go as far as audience reach. If you’re ok with that then more power to you, but don’t think you can be the next Beatles just because you can play a minor pentatonic scale faster than everybody else. Just my opinion.

When it is nothing but flippy and dangerous shit, I just can't get into it. I look at PRO WRESTLING from the mindset of an old school street fighter and I've never once climbed up on a car to do a 450 splash in the middle of a fight. When I hear and read guys like Reigns, etc do nothing but punch and kick and I'm like um yeah, that's what you do in a fight. I'm against WWE not allowing blood also, so it's not just the indy crap. I think they need blood in cage matches etc. I'll take the stories over the "great" in ring crap any day

Do ya know what all of us fans need? What would be the ultimate show that would do HUGE Numbers for all involved? A Russo, Snow, Meltzer, Sapp, Bishoff, Hausman, LaGreca, and maybe one or two more round table discussion and just let em all go at it and air out all their views and bullshit. Now that is something I'd pay to see. And so would a lot of other people. At least I think they would haha. I enjoy the ridiculous drama though.

The point Meltzer brings up about not having to wrestle as many nights is sort of valid. But young wrestlers would benefit from more matches in their early career. Established wrestlers can demand more $ per date & work less but should try to have depth to their character & tell good stories, but they don't. So...

@@HawaiianPizza87They shouldn't though, nobody cares about the critics they're just dweebs with an opinion like everyone else. If someone is dumb enough to pay a critic for a career that's on them. Absolutely nowhere does it say we need to respect their career or opinion on anything.

Here's a thought should a movie get a 9/10 just because I don't like certain lines from the movie? If the movie was done well and the only reason I'm giving it one less point is because I'm allowing my personal feelings to get in the way. Then isn't that not grading on performance and things that really matter? So by that standard if I think Vince Russo is bad at booking should I always give him a star or less on his matches no matter what he's doing? Or another dangerous spot you instantly get one less star cause I don't like that
