The mind-body connection.
A conversation on how moving your body directly impacts your mind and well-being. How movement can heal traumas/ feelings of depression. Easy things you can do to move each day when you are working at a desk all day. Panelists also spoke to how moving/ yoga had positive impacts on their mental health and what brought them into the field.
Carolyn Long - Carolyn Long is a Quantum Healer starting this journey with Dr Steven Teagarden in 2010 she earned her Emergence Care Therapy Certification. After many years of private practice and guidance from Dr Deepak Chopra and Caroline Myss, she then went on to earn a scholarship to work with the infamous Dr Jean Houston, the pioneer of The Quantum Realm.
Darren Obong - Darren Obong is an artist and teacher and is deeply passionate about living a life that is in integrity and alignment with his highest purpose. He utilizes ancient healing modalities such as yoga, meditation, breath work, sound alchemy, and energy work to help individuals live a more embodied and fulfilling life.
Kim Saira - Kim is an Asian American creative, movement healer, joy coach, and writer who activates communities about Asian American/Filipina American culture, mental health, and what spiritual & emotional healing looks like from her unique, Filipina-American perspective. She's been awarded as a Top Changemaker under 25 by Change.org and a 2022 Webby Award Nominee for Best Creator on Social.
