It requires some courage to cover those distances in a small ultralight plane. Particilarly for a girl of her age. But she is already so dedicated, covering those serious distances solo. Chapeau! Learning flying an ultralight makes her aware of everything that happens in the sky. Like karting for future racing drivers. There is nothing childish on this kid. She is a treasure. I saw this beautiful 3 point landing! She is already becoming a celebrity! Oh, greetings from France/Holland.
Way to go Alina i really enjoy watching both you & your dad yous make a great team together happy flying & stay safe
I met Alena and William Scott when she arrived at Sun & Fun. A very accomplished teen with great support from Dad (William). As a future Aerolite 103 builder - flyer I appreciated their suggestions on Aerolite operations.🛩
RESPECT! to Alena, A great achievement. At 14 I was riding a bicycle around my village...
Good on her- I was flying gliders at 14 and can attest that this foundation of learning to be responsible, follow the rules and push on to new experiences will serve her the rest of her life. Perhaps one day I'll be lucky enough to be a passenger in the airliner she's flying.
Love the checklists.

Glad you enjoyed it. Best in-flight clips of your pilot, Thanks to you and Alina, Wayne
Someone should buy that young lady an iPad, mount and a Foreflight subscription. Amazing story!
Nicely put together. Particularly enjoyed the maps and voice-over. Edited a treat too. While the in flight footage is exemplary, you really see how fast she is flying when it's combined with additional land footage. Video worthy of her remarkable achievement! Really enjoyed the spicy landing splices. And her greasers/shadow chacing are fun too!! Greetings from the UK.

I have watched a number of her videos. Fun to watch, just praying she is getting continued training. I have been. flying 20 years and 3500 hrs, i try every year to fly with a different CFI.

Another great video! I would have preferred a few more camera angles, at least one looking forward, so we see what she sees. Greetings from Sweden!

@fredrikwergeland9531 Thank you for your comments and input. I agree, the more angles give a wider perspective. I will work on that. I like your work and enjoy the music thoroughly. Best wishes to you in Beautiful Sweden.
Another great film, many thanks. Just a tiny thought, would it be possible to either add another radio PPT or move it to the right-hand side to avoid the cross-hands routine. Best wishes

Its possible, but the ptt button routing would be more difficult or gets in her way.

Why no helmet?
Not looking to be irregal!!!
It is cool , but I can't imagine turning my kid loose flying one of those cross country ! There is a lot can go wrong , even for an expert. And she is 14? I am sort of surprised its even legal.
Does she have a parachute?

No
Sounds like she has either a sore throat, a cold or both...
That Challenger ll is the only way to fly. No better Ultralight than the Challenger ll.

@@CatO9lives I realize that. In the Intro to this video it shows the 2 guys flying in a Yellow Challenger ll. It say Yellow Bird on it.
Dad was telling her to take off from the taxiway which is not legal unless you have prior permission by the airport management. Additionally, why limit how much runway length and width you have in case of an engine out. That was dumb. Probably would not have gotten caught, but that's not something you want to teach a young person just starting their aviation journey. 🙄
I think she needs a helmet to be more protected.

and probably a bit warmer. From my motorcycling days even at slower speeds the heat lost from ones head can really bring on a chill and now in retirement cycling at much slower speeds I value the protection of a crash hat.
Does anyone else get even the slightest feeling that the teenager is being 'pushed' by her dad with the flying thing?

Might seem that way, but she appeared to be loving it to me and she is really good and confident. Bless her. Awesome video. Love it.
