great video, I was you wondering if the meter needs to be calibrated for Ph when purchased, like before you use it or is it calabrated out of the box so calibration is only necessary after +-25 uses as stated in video? thank you.

Hi Do I need to buy other buffer solutions for TDS, EC, Salinity or pH is already enough?

Hello! I just made a short video about calibrating the EC on your meter - and what you need to do it. You only need a single solution called "1413 Standardized Solution". When you calibrate the EC, you are also simultaneously calibrating the TDS, PPM, Salt % and Salt PPM. for calibration, when mixing solution what water is required? Tap or distilled?

Always use distilled for calibration.

Is the solution the same one used for all and is the sensor replaceable if broken do you sell it

Grest questions! The solution strength and pH vary based on the plant being grown, and the stage of growth. Yes - the meter probe is replaceable and yes, I sell them. Thanks!!

Okay, this video is great, however... the instructions that come with the device are pretty much useless, would not have known how to calibrate the device, or even known that calibration was just for pH and salt and that the other readings it provides are pre-calibrated, if I hadn't watched this video. And even this video could be a bit more specific, such as when you start the calibration cycle it would be good to know that you first need to scroll to the mode for which you're doing the calibration. I know, maybe obvious, but instructions for something like this should not make assumptions; if someone is reading the instructions then it's likely they've never done this before.

Yes. Agreed. Thank god for KZread. How much more would you have to charge to include the 1413 Standardized solution for calibrating the other functions that I bought this for? How much does it cost to order. Can I get I anywhere, hence Standardized, or just from Aero Gro?

I just bought this meter, does this meter come calibrated? Or do i have to calibrate it to use it for the first time?

The meter comes calibrated from the factory, and includes powders for recalibration in the future. Also, I sell pH recalibration powders on the Aero-Gro website.

We're struggling a bit with supply issues at the moment - but they're on the way!!

You can buy pre mixed solutions. To perform these test. Instead of wasting your time. Also every pH meter I have purchased,comes calibrated. What would have been nice in this video is. Telling everyone why you are using this meter and what it does. And what you do when your pH is off. And explain to people about the pH drift. If you know what it is. And what causes it. Instead of just trying to sell your product.

Many of my customers don't like playing with the powders and chemicals for pH testing. The meter provides a quick, less messy way of testing. I have covered use of the meter in other videos. Thanks.
