YOU REALLY SHOULD RINSE AFTER EVERY CALIBRATION. NEVER SEEN IT DONE WHERE YOU DON'T RINSE AFTER EVERY SOLUTION CALIBRATION. SO THIS METHOD IS NEW TO ME...

I saw another comment suggest this so I have started rinsing, however not rinsing didn’t seem to have any major negative effect, I’m assuming it would have been off by a small fraction at most, thanks for watching

Thank you for watching Norma! Apera makes a really good product in my opinion, also another bonus for the ph60 is the probe is replaceable if you ever find yourself needing an upgrade 👍

@@Kippagrows i agree , its the best PH pen ive had ,was looking at the glowstar range they have but way out of my price range , they are more expensive here in Europe too sadly.. should be a good video for you for views as I know i searched for a video to see how to calibrate & didnt find one as good as yours .

is calibrating the 10.0 absolutely necessary.. or just good practice to do so ?

I believe it will only help give a more accurate reading especially if you have alkaline water, so not 100% necessary but it is helpful

@@Kippagrows i skipped the 10 point, so if id like to calibrate the 10 in the near future..id have to start all the way over and recal. starting with 7 then 4 correct ?

Need to rinse the probe off with distilled water before switching between 7 and 4 calibration solutions.
