as a formerly obese person (bmi 31), i was all about fat acceptance, hated thin people complaining about skinny shaming and denied how much i was really feasting on daily. i blamed not finding clothes on fatphobia, called my doctor fatphobic when i was told to lose weight for a medical issue. im bmi 19 now, im the healthiest and happiest i've ever been, and it's sad to see these people acting the way i did. i had binge eating disorder without even realising it, and when i did, i knew i had to change. it's all bout willpower, some people just refuse to put in the work to change :)

How to stop being fat: -Don't eat over 3 meals a day -Work out (Does not have to be at a gym, a home workout can work as well) -Stop drinking soda, drink stuff like water, or any other type of drink low in sugar. I used to weigh around 250 pounds a couple months ago, but a friend told me to do these three things and I now weigh 180 pounds. It really is not that difficult. Just people coping with the fact that they are fat by telling others its "fatphobic" to do things like workout.

Here are my thoughts on fatphobia: Yes, it’s bad to shame and make fun of fat people. That is fatphobia. But at the same time, you shouldn’t be encouraging fat people to just eat chicken nuggets all day💀And also, being genuinely concerned about someone else’s weight isn’t fatphobic. I find that people on both the right and left can’t accept nuance when it comes to this topic😑

Its work in progress and i will come out of this a better person. I love how the woman at 7:47 admitted that McDonalds is her main source of food. As if McDonalds is the only place to get a salad. Matter of fact, it has been proven that McDonalds salads are far more unhealthy than a Big Mac, with all the calories from the chemicals used in them. This isn't even scarce or secret info. It's been public for a while now. Besides, being broke is the PERFECT time to lose weight solely because you have less money to spend on unhealthy foods. Back in the day, the poor people that worked in the fields were not fat because of all the calories burnt while working and having less to eat. Meanwhile, the wealthy didn't have to do any extraneous work or move around much, and most just ate themselves to death. That's why gout became a symbol of wealth. This lady basically said health is too expensive to maintain. Absolute nonsense.

But when someone tries to tell you about your health, you need to listen, because it’s not technically healthy to be overweight. If someone tells you about your health, they DO care about you! They want you to live your best life and want you to live longer because you’re healthy. Also, I get showing off a bigger body, but some people take it to a whole different level, and it’s a bit too far…

2:22 dude this part annoyed the hell out of me- since my partner and i have gotten together, he has put on a bit of weight after spending most of his life being in shape and it's starting to take a toll on him. we both have had a lot happen in the past few years where going to the gym would be a bit more difficult, so i completely understand. i've told him so many times that i really don't care about his apperance- i think he's stunning regardless, and he's a very handsome man, i'm just worried about his health. not everyone cares about your apperance when they're with you, and the fact the first thing she wants to jump to is "tHaT sOuNdS lIkE hE oNlY cArEs AbOuT yOuR lOoKs, bREaK Up wItH hIm!!!1!!2!!1!!! >:(((((" is more toxic on her end then that person's boyfriend saying "i'm worried about your health, maybe you should lose some weight". if he was degrading that person and calling them fat, disgusting, a pig, etc and putting her down because of her weight to be cruel, that would be a totally different story.... body positivity should be accepting yourself for things you can't change without drastic things like surgery, not actually killing yourself by staying in this consistant cycle of ignorance

Why do people call this a disability? It’s victimizing themselves and very narcissistic, it’s like saying you have a disability because you can eat peanuts. It’s not a disability if you can fix it or maneuver around it. They should be more grateful that they have all their limbs, can think, can walk, and can support themselves. It’s such a privilege I see way to many people taking granted

Do push ups. Drink water. Cut sugar and carbs. Eat more protein. You'll lose weight pretty steadily and gain muscle. Most of it will drop in the first month or so as water weight if you stick with it.

the only excuse to being fat is having a medical issue for example; high insulin issues. Like my sister we eat the same exact thing and non of us work out- we skip meals basically, we don't eat very much, AND yet she weight 30kgs more than me. I'm 69kgs 5'5 (70cm around the waist so I'm skinny) and she's 5'5 90-100kgs w a 100cm waist. and no working out is very very hard for her. little to no improvement in weeks and weeks of working out and it strains her body too much bec she cant hold her own weight. its actually kind of fucked up. Mind ya'll, I eat more sugary foods :p
