For those curious, this is (for me, at least), like a single player World of Warcraft card game. It borrows a lot of inspiration from WoW, has some great bosses and difficulties (like m+ modifiers), not to mention tank, dps, and healers. I have 100+ hours on Steam, and really enjoy it.

Since you have played it so much, whats the point of the game and what makes it fun? never played this type of game but im considering to buy this, so i would like to know how you put so many hours on a game of cards where you just battle monsters all the time.

@@nyanmaruunlocked399 it's a run based game like slay the spire. So you pick roles and attempt to cross the obelisks with up to 3 friends. You earn money to upgrade gear and cards and have to make decisions that affect your aggression and path through the maps.

Have over 200 hours on PC, definitely recommend this card game. Has a bit of a learning curve but well worth it.

After playing Queens blood so much i might start getting into more Card based games

I have nearly 200 hours played of this game on PC, don't let the mediocre artstyle, sounddesign and animations fool you, it adds to the charm of the game. The game has a surprising amount of depth and a lot of cool combinations of units you can play.

@@danebramage04 Not sure, since I don't own the Switch version. I highly doubt the Switch version demands you to run the game through an additional launcher/account, maybe if you want to enable crossplay/crossdata you might.

I played a ton of Slay The Spire, this could be fun

Me and my partner have had many fond memories playing runs well into the morning! A really fun Card based roguelike strategy game. One of our favorites. So many unique builds and combinations and just so y'all know the Steam store got review bombed because people don't like the Paradox launcher. but it has never given us any trouble. there are a few DLC characters. but you can get more than enough out of the base characters. And for those interested in the DLC characters. we've gotten a lot of enjoyment out of them. some of our favorites. So they're definitely worth the purchase if you like the game and want more.

It also has a Kmart version knockoff name, almost to the point of parody. It's like the third thing someone would say when struggling to think of variations on the theme.

Does it have local coop on one console? is a bit unclear and i wouldnt want to buy 3 different games to be able to play with friends.

I looked it up. It's 1 per console. But it's easy to make the game co op. By passing the controller between players.. each controlling GB a particular character. Kinda annoying they didn't add multiple controller support tho

Hope it’s Kamen Rider Ryuki or Kamen Rider Gotchard Vibes.

As someone who doesn't really care for card games but is considering giving the genre another go would this be a good starting point?

I have 163 hours playing it with my partner on the Steam version. and I can't think of a single time I didn't had a fun time on a run.

I think the only one that's really worth it is the Sands of Ulminin, Skip the Wolf Wars and the spooky DLC. Amelia is hella fun too. but if you need dlc go with SoU. I and my partner really love the game, and there's plenty to get out of it without DLC
