DO NOT SLEEP ON THIS GAME. This game went under everyone's radar back in 2022 and now with this game being released on all consoles, I give everyone a strong urge to try this game. I'm definetly paying for the console versions to support GalaxyTrail and to fund them for Freedom Planet 3 (incase they are making it in the future.)

​@@Keychan64 Well, not all of us can afford a $400 portable, (and honestly no portable system should be that much, especially given how fragile some are) so I'm glad it's on Switch too, and frankly it runs great on Switch. Didn't experience any slowdown whatsoever.

ADHD levels of scope meaning 24 levels with all unique tilesets and backgrounds in addition to hubworlds with a super advanced artstyle from a tiny indie studio does that apparently. It's certainly fine to be ambitious but yeah a 7 year development time was a result of shooting for the stars (rather fitting from a studio names GalaxyTrail lol)

Shout-outs to the time I saw Freedom Planet 1 in some Wii U focused Nintendo Direct and I immediately fell in love with the game. And now here I am playing the sequel.... On PC. Didn't know it wasn't already on Switch before today.

Ironically isn't Freedom Planet full of things retro Sonic fans hate about modern Sonic games? Like story focus, voice acting, motorcycles, being able to run up walls and loops easily with little momentum? (Remember when people bashed STH4 for that?) So it's kinda ironic when people say Sonic should emulate Freedom Planet. Let Sonic be Sonic and FP be FP. That said Sonic Superstars was great, despite the tedious bosses, limited time costumes, and inconsistent difficulty.

Even though I haven’t played the original, I still think it is really cool to see this game get a sequel! I’ll have to try both of these games at some point in the future.

They're both great I highly recommend them both. Play the first one first though, plus it goes on sale pretty cheap on the eShop.

If you liked FP1, you'll love FP2. Game's an improvement in every single way, my favorite being the Treasure style bosses.

Please galaxytrail give us a physical edition with both games bundled in that would be incredible I also got FP1 on steam and im playing it on my chromebook where i go out and its really alot of fun I love this game series so much

Already bought it on Switch. It may seem pricey for an indie game, but it's sooo worth it! Absolutely, love it, it's everything I loved about the first game, and more. Loveable characters with different personalities, great dialogue, (some especially funny NPC lines) great story, fast paced platforming, and running segments, creative stage design, incredible bosses, amazing 2D visuals, a wonderful soundtrack, rewarding items, a very well done customizable difficulty feature, and the new hub areas make good rest areas. Don't write this off as "another Sonic fan game," or a "cutesy anime furry style indie game," or anything like that. This is one of the most epic 2D indie games I've played in years. I'd even say I enjoyed it more than most recent 3D AAA games. I also highly recommend the first game too.
