Not gonna lie, Masashi Hamauzu’s soundtrack is a BIG reason I got the collector’s edition for this one. I adore both this soundtrack and the one from The Alliance Alive.

​@@CorynSilver the overall story didn't really make much sense to me and was weirdly trying to be daring in a way that some might find blasphemous. Every time you press A on these stone angels and unlock some element and get some elemental item, too, there is a passage of some overall script displayed on the screen that is too numerous in quantity to remember and mentally arrange properly/coherently. There are cool boss like encounters in which giant birds drop out of the sky. But completing the compendium was a pain in some places for specific enemies and drops. I wish more carried over when one did the other character stories and thus played the game seven times. I loved Alliance Alive except for how smutty the design was for Matilda in the 3ds version, at least. While replays reset the guild member assignment and maps, the painstakingly acquired personal progress for character levels was at least saved

So I only read "The Legend of ____ HD Remastered" tbh just reading "The Legend of" directly makes me jump to the conclusion that it's a Zelda game lol. Not to mention that there has been rumors of a Wind Waker or Twilight Princess HD port coming to Switch, so for a split second I was convinced that it was that

I just found it funny how I bought the DS version of this game last week and now it’s coming out for the switch 😂😂😂

Honestly I just clicked on this because I thought the name sounded ridiculous lol. From what I can tell though it's supposed to be a game about exploration which sounds like my kind of thing. Might add it to my mountain list of wishlisted games that I tell myself I'll get eventually and never get around to.

Are there any enhancements beyond basic HD Remaster for this version? The video didn't show enemies in the maps while exploring. I have the 3DS version and I found it extremely difficult to explore because there were so many enemies on the maps, I spent the whole time battling or trying to avoid battle and didn't actually have time to enjoy exploration. Plus the enemies are constantly respawning, so there was no point where you can clear a map so you're free to explore. Escaping from battle sent you back to the beginning of the map, so getting even a single map complete was a real chore.

My eyes saw Bravery Default / The 4 heroes of light.

I wonder if there's any new stuff added to this version from the 3DS version like with the alliance alive

For those not in the know, Legend/Legacy is a nice game + fire music, but it is a GRIND to get any real progress going; a Random Grind at that... so yeah, have fun~

The Redundancy of the Redundant Title

I remember playing this on the 3DS but don't think I actually beat. Sadly I'm not sure I'm willing enough to try it again here even though I enjoyed it.

What kind of title is "Legend of Legacy"? Seems to me like they couldn't decide on this being a "Legend of Something" or a "Legacy of Something" so they just used both.

I think you should add a feature that you can change the software update were you can go back to a update and have all the stuff that you had in that software update you can have again so like if you loved a software update you can go back to the software update you loved and you can have all the stuff that you had in that that you loved again but it's only for minecraft

I played this game before like when it was on the 3DS , but seeing it now like now on the Switch , it’s like the same thing back on the 3DS.

At first normally I would have suspected Zelda not seeing the full title. But then I also realized the odds of Nintendo actually releasing Wind Waker HD or Twilight Princess HD after not announcing it in a direct is slim to none. Those are sought after best sellers and it just doesnt feel like something they would do. Something as big as Zelda in video thats not part of a direct.

Please give us Twilight princess and Wind waker remasters for Switch this year please! 🥺❤️

I've been waiting for this for so long!!!

I remember playing this game on the 3DS, it was a pretty decent game though it's battle mechanics are wonky when you first play. I got to the very end though I was never able to beat the final boss. I won't buy it again cause I'm fine with it, hope people enjoy this. Also the music was pretty good.

I thought Legacy Killa HD got his own game for a minute.

Animation looks a lot like Fantasy Life but I see this is not from Level 5

Gonna bust open the 3ds and play it there instead...

Naah. Get the Alliance Alive instead. It's better than Legend of Legacy (as it's a spiritual sequel) and you can play as a SUPER CUTE PENGUIN!

I can’t wait for the sequel, “Secret of the Secrecy”.

A really interesting game that tried a lot of interesting things with combat and storytelling, some of which worked and some of which didn't. I'd say Alliance Alive is definitely the better game, but depending on price point, QoL improvements, and how much you like turn based JRPGs it's worth giving it a go.

this is a great example of a game that I really want to love but doesn't feel like it delivers on its full potential. because of this I'd say it's pretty niche, but you'll probably like it if you like any SaGa games or if you like it's follow-up, Alliance Alive (which I would recommend over this if you've played neither)

Hope it's axtually fun this time cause boy the original on the 3ds was barely anything more then a cool concept

Huh, didnt expect this. I never findihed the 3DS game, I ended up not finding the combat very engaging. Which is a shame cause i do love turn based cbat, just didnt work for me here.

Read what I found hater. Yuzu Team long spit on Windows 7 hold-outs who refused regressive spyware like 10 or 11 just to use your emulator. You guys didn't just discontinue customer support, like Ryujinx which still works. You went out of your way to sabotage operation of Yuzu on 7, making small changes you knew broke compatibility without leaving former fallbacks in place, silencing discussions around this, and treating paying customers to your Patreon income like rabble or dirt to discard. In its stubborn commitment to inoperability Yuzu abandoned me, so with nothing to lose from Yuzu I turned against Yuzu. I found 93 somewhat relevant Nintendo emails, and even more social media accounts. I sent many messages to inform them about Yuzu, hoping for a C&D.

tbh i rather have a pokemon remake in this style it looks pretty nice and the saturated coloring would looks better in it

Gosh dangit I thought this was a new Zelda game 😅

Two things. First, I almost thought that this game was forgotten and would not get a remake, and so I am surprised! Second...I kind of played through the game with every character when I had it on 3DS...I think its safe to say that I would like to see some extra content included, if possible >_>;;

I played the demo for this back on the 3DS. I might get it for the Switch. I hope Bravely Default+Second get a Switch port as well.

Bravely Default and Second have different devs. Legend of Legacy is a Bravely Default rip-off. But yeah I hope the first two Bravely games get ports on Switch because they're some of my favorites, though it will be hard to implement some of the endgame gimmicks since the Switch doesn't have a streetpass equivalent, AR feature, or even a camera.

@@KrimsonKattYT StreetPass features can be omitted if you re-balance the game, since re-building Norende have no effect between Default and Second (which was a major bummer). The AR features are useless and the camera, while I can see where they were going with that, can be implied any other way.

At least 90% of the views are people thinking this was something for Zelda.

Like if you thought this was Zelda-related.

I played this on DS and it was fun !! but please dont let it costs 60 bucks, its more of a twenty dollar game

How weird that this got released long after Alliance Alive HD, considering this is the "prequel". I prefer Alliance Alive though. I'm playing the game right now. Just reached ch.25 right after that annoying 3 teams boss. Also, move away Filmia, Robbins is way cuter XD

7th Dragon HD is already on Switch. This is the last of the 4 VanillaWare 3DS games to get ported. The other ones were 7th Dragon, Stella Glow, and the Alliance Alive.

It's an interesting game. You essentially start with a blank game that literally draws itself as you explore it. It's like a fog that lifts anyone you step on in the over world. I never finished it though, so I'm not too sure about the story but it was fun for the bit I played.

I don't know if Nintendo can hear me and take my idea, but once I had a dream about a new Donkey Kong game called "Donkey Kong Country: Siren's charm" where Donkey Kong island is invaded by evil mermaids, so Donkey Kong and friends must have go through the island to save it and stop the evil mermaids, and that Kiddy Kong, Candy Kong, Enguarde and Expresso have returned and some returning themes like Nuts and Bolts, Hot Head Hop, Stilt Village and Flight of the Zinger.

I had this on the 3DS at one point and i just couldn't click with it. It had some issues and I really wanted to like it at the time,but I actually ended up giving it to a friend. The funny part is I absolutely LOVED The Alliance Alive though and have played through that one multiple times on my 3DS. Wondering if I should give this game another shot and also am curious if the issues the original release had have been fixed as well.
