ACA P-50 siren test, Milwaukee County Courthouse, Milwaukee, WI (alert & attack)

Ғылым және технология

Monthly test of the Milwaukee County tornado siren system. This is the ACA P-50 on top of the Milwaukee County Courthouse in Downtown Milwaukee, WI. It sounded a minute of alert and 5 cycles of attack. I filmed this at the top of the Wells Street Parking Structure, about 1200 feet away. Being so far away, there was a delay from the time it started up to the time the sound got to me, so that was pretty cool. This video does no justice to how cool the echoes sounded through the city. It was totally epic, especially during attack. Like, comment, subscribe, enjoy!. www.google.com/maps/d/edit?mi... Link to Milwaukee County's siren locations. Sirens are tested on the 2nd Wednesday of every month at Noon.

8/12 port sirens and church bells sounding together make any area badass. Just think if a F5 was approaching Downtown Milwaukee and the last thing you heard before impact was the P-50 & Church bells.

I've been in Milwaukee since that video was posted and it is still there. The T-121 supposedly did replace a P-50 on the roof too, but not this one. The T-121 is pretty far from this one.

So why is it that I've seen several P50s now with holes in the fiberglass projector? Could there be objects that get sucked into the siren and then blasted out at high speed, puncturing the projector? Seems plausible.
