ACA P-50 Siren - Alert - Rib Mountain, WI (Broken Rotator)

Now, the reason why I decided to record this P-50 again is because I wanted to see if the rotator was fixed or not. It isn't fixed yet, it's kinda just rotating back and forth in the wind. I happened to meet some people there, and they were also into sirens, that's what all the talking was at the end. Also, I apologize for sounding so out of breath, my dad and I were kind of in a rush to get to this siren on time. Luckily, we made it. (I'm so tired, lol!)
By the way, I left something that I made there. I hope you can find it.

Damn the rotator broke! didin’t know that lol.
Did you see this go off on the 28th? My grandpa who lives just north of the hill said it was fixed but it may have been rotating in the wind.

@@wingochan9400well it has a chance of getting replace I have seen many p50’s getting replaced because of rotators so it might get replace with a 2001 we never know but I hope it survives I like p50’s (not in tsm)

Cyclone, don't say that! There is still hope! It will get fixed, I mean, it has to! I mean, there's nothing wrong with how it sounds. It's just a broken chain! That doesn't affect the way it sounds! The chain is fixable! I just know it! I just want it to get fixed. It better get fixed. Or else...I'll cry. 😢

@@wingochan9400 you got a point I hope it doesn’t get replaced either but I have seen a p50 getting replace by a 2001 130 I don’t think this one can be replaced because this doesn’t use a pole mount because it’s on a phone tower

What happened here was at one point, this siren rotated for 3 months straight! That's right! It rotated that long! Not sure why. But anyway that's why the rotators broken. Heard it from another guy who caught this siren

I'm not sure actually. It always does that when it starts up. It could be the whole tower shaking, maybe? Because this siren's sound can vibrate the ground, so maybe it vibrated the mount it's on too? Again, I'm not sure what it is. 🤔

@@wingochan9400that’s not at all what it is, it’s the sirens relay(the thing that powers the siren) the reason it’s so loud is because it’s metal on metal, and it’s like 400 volts or something so that’s why it so loud
Wingo chan honestly thats not a p-50 its a T-135ac that replaced a model 5 and i think how did it got the broken rotator its because the T-135ac has a belt inside of the rotator box that spins the chain rotator at 3 rpm same as the p-50.

I know it's a T-135AC, but I'm still calling it a P-50. It looks the same, it sounds the same, and it's just as loud as an ACA P-50. They're basically the same siren from different siren companies. One coming from ACA, and the other from ASC. So, I'm still calling it a P-50 no matter what.

Yes, once my dad drove past this siren, he dropped me off next to it because it was almost 1:15, which is the time it sounds off. And I had to run to where I wanted to stand, so I was really out of breath. (I was sort of panicking as well, lol!) 😮💨

@@wingochan9400 alrighty I've been there too but its kinda funny that the wind is making the siren rotate like if the wind was mad at someone in the area the wind just points the siren head towards that person (so you ready for the 41k subscriber special from BSP I hope the video comes out sometime soon)

Well, I want to. But I'm probably not going to get to it until I start driving by myself. However, the ACA Hurricane and the B&N Mobil Directo in Milwaukee are the 2 sirens I'm hoping to record at some point in my life. 🙏

@@wingochan9400 unfortunately you will most likely only get to see the hurricane. The Mobile directo is getting replaced as with all of the other sirens in Milwaukee county other than the hurricane.

I don't know. But it always does that. It could've been the mount vibrating, because this siren is able to shake the ground. But I could be wrong. 🤔
