Abi has reminded me of Sara Bareilles since her audition. She is a special singer. Sara did a cover of this song that was similar. Makes me wonder if Abi is a fan of hers. FANTASTIC! I'm in love with the sound of her voice and the way she sings.

I 100% agree with you. It was an excellent performance and an excellent version of the song! I can’t believe that there are people in the comments saying that it didn’t have any emotion to it or that they didn’t like it at all. I must have heard a totally different performance than they did. Some people seem to think that they can’t like a cover of a song that is typically sung by an artist that they like or that if the song is changed a little bit then it’s bad. 🤷🏼‍♀️A good cover is when you pay tribute to the original while also making it your own. Love your reaction!

She is an outstanding vocalist to WIN this competition!! And none of the judges said vote for her they just say Vote vote vote for anyone??? She is the best one left! Remember SHE GOT the platinum ticket!!🎉 Go Abi Carter that was a grammy performance right there!!💯 I think they could be setting this up for a Shock elimination I hope I'm Wrong!!😯

I think the judges try to stay neutral so they don't influence the votes. Katy did say that Abi was her favorite however. I hope it doesn't hurt her chances.

Our kids WEREN'T "forbidden" from listening to rock and roll! (Abi shouldn't have said that!) I just don't like listening to most music and will turn it off unless it is beautiful, true, and good. Does the music inspire and uplift? Otherwise, what's the point? Songs are like prayers. One ought to sing from one's heart! This is one of my favorite performances by Abi in this contest. I loved her audition and California Dreamin' (with Odel and Julia) and this song. I'm so proud of her!

I also respectfully disagree. Most of the songs/music I like is based on feeling and being able to feel what the artist is singing. I personally loved this version and always feel the emotion exuding off of Abi when she performs. She reminds me of Kelly Clarkson a little bit because of that and because they’re both great singers.

She has a great voice but I didn't like this version of Yellow brick road.

I did not like this version at all She wails too much and whispers the song
