A-Z GRAFFITI SLANG // MUST KNOW WORDS for anyone getting into graffiti!!

Тәжірибелік нұсқаулар және стиль

Remember people some graffiti slang is not universal, so what I'm telling you here may not be applicable to where you are. Best thing to do is NOT take this as gospel but start learning the lingo from your location by talking and interacting with others. The best tips and tricks for graffiti don't happen on the internet

I feel like being a toy is like being a poser in skating. People who act like they’re good at skating and have a huge ego but actually suck. I’d skate with a terrible skater as long as their mentality is cool

I once knew a heaven spot piecer. Grump. His style was wack, but his spots were nuthin short of legendary. I once seen a grumpsta piece on a roof of an old factory, right on the pier docks, on a shipping container yard. Well over 200 feet up, on a 90 degree angle, nowhere to even step, he must have been a rockclimber in his spare time with ropes, his spots were never buffed cos of how hard tbey were to get to. Many of his throwys and pieces remaremai n even today. Some laughed at his style, but most were met with, but woulc you go up there? Exactly. Its weird, now thinking, Poor guy prob fell off a roof

The word your looking for for that euro garbage is Pussy-shit. Pussy-shit. noun// Euro biter garbage done usually by youth in country's that don't have guns that only do it because they saw it in states. Graffiti done without fear of being shot. "hey I saw that pussy-shit those euro kids were throwing on trains on KZread but they ran off because the cops came and whistled at them"

E Sod I’m pretty sure you’re not gonna get shot for drawing graffiti in America 😂 art is art, whether or not there’s consequences. Graffiti was always used to speak out or to show art in a controversial way to generate attention. Europe has some amazing artists, you just need to know where to look.

Am I a toy if I don’t plan on doing actual graffiti but want to learn the culture and add aspects of into my art? Tbh I could see myself making little pictures as graffiti, the urge is there, but I don’t plan on it, just really like the movement and gritty edge to it.

Pretty much right except the term "burner" to me and people I know it means 1 of 2 things. 1 a tag scribe fill whatever that has been "burning" for a long time like a year or longer. Mostly what older heads go for instead if a Hollywood spot that will get more eyes but have less longevity. The ladder term is for a straight letter with a little more steez.
