10 Ways To DIE Doing Graffiti
Тәжірибелік нұсқаулар және стиль
Stay safe out there...
I've tried to approach this video as sensitively as possibly, because for most this is a very emotional point of discussion. As a result I've avoided mentioning any specific names, incidents or locations out of respect. The points therefore are a lot broader, unspecific and open to interpretation. This ain't no graff gospel, so let these videos intrigue you but in the end provoke you to come to your own conclusion about the topic at hand.
For some these points hit home harder than we'll ever know so just be respectful with your opinions. Thanks for reading.

Closest I came to death was while doing a roller bomb in a wash and almost getting swept away by a wall of water. It was a clear sunny day and the sun was setting. I decided to go paint this man made river that is usually dry. The walls are about 20 feet high and I have been painting there forever. Anyways I hopped on my dirt bike, loaded up on paint and went to the wash. As I was painting I had the fill done and began the outline. From my right side I hear what sounds like strong wind blowing and lots of cans and trash scraping in the concrete. I didn’t think anything of it and continued on my piece. About 5 minutes later I realized the sound was getting closer. I notice a one foot line of trash and debris coming towards me from about 100 feet out. I immoderately realize that the sound was rain water that occurred across town had made its way to where I was. I immediately hopped on my bike and began the mile long journey out of the wash. As I was riding through the water it slowly started getting higher. There was only one way out which happens to be the same place I entered a couple miles away. As I was making my way out my motorcycle stalled and died because it was flooded. At this time I was handle bar deep in water and luckily there was a slight slope about 10 feet away where I could wait for the water to die down. I had to wait here for about 4 hours until I could safely go home. The water at its highest was about 8 feet deep and moving very fast and filled with debris.Thinking back it was pretty cool but it was also the one time I truly believed I was gonna die.

I’d just like to add my two cents here. I’m 35. I’ve been in the graffiti game for 20 years. And drugs are definitely the biggest killer of graffiti writers. I can’t count how many writers are dead before the should be due to drugs. That’s just the fact. As I get older, it becomes more apparent. Don’t do drugs, kids.

He'd have to look into more gangland stuff a lot of beef that happens involving types of graffiti is usually within gangs. They tag out a nother gangs tag and throw up their own causing gang fights. You can tag up a nother gang members name as a way to call them to the streets for a fight. Crossing out an existing name someone else put up means your going to or have killed that person. It goes on like this.

For No.9, hardcore bombing and hitting a lot of trains can also lead to crazy paranoia, which has also led to suicide with some writers. So sometimes, you could say the escape mechanism was too much instead of not enough
My math teacher used to be in a danish graffiti Crew and his friend was gonna do graffiti on a train but Got electricuted and now my math teacher got his friends tag tattood on his leg
Rest in peace to all that lost their lives in the act of graffiti.☹️
What about wildlife? I got attacked by a goose once and I'm lucky to be still alive! In all seriousness be safe out there, you never know if a vicious dog, coyote, mountain lion, bear or any other dangerous animal could be lurking around.

And anyway, if I was from a place where my pieces lasted a week on a panel I'd be pretty happy. Thats alot of eyes on it. Freights are chill but its the challenge of a panel that gets you the real respect.

Dont expose yourself (dont post yourself taggin) Dont write on your own neighborhood (neighbors will recognize you) Dont tag your own school (cops will now know your tag) Hide your markers/cans if you live with your parents/ or guardian If you go to school, dont carry around a blackbook full of sketches of pieces n tags, if a teacher or cop searches your shit you're done And write more in day time rather than at night, you will seem less suspicious at day time (unless you have a car then yeah go bombing/ taggin at night time just as long as you're not exposed in the streets)

Me and my dudes were painting the line in a pretty chill night spot, the concrete block wall randomly caught on fire. We talk about it to this day and no one can come up with a common sense theory that really caused it other than spontaneous combustion which is apparently a phenomenon that happens in the universe extremely rarely, like witnessing it is way rarer than winning the lottery !....

You missed neighbours. At least here in Argentina some people is armed and maybe you want to get to a train station by someones roof and they confuse you with a burglar and shoot. Some months ago a 16 year old venezuelan guy who lived here was shot by a neighbour because he was painting a rooftop. He managed to tell that to the man but he didn't care and killed him

At 6:11 my family sometimes drives by that spot. It’s still up but very faded
I almost kicked the bucket when I was tagging the under side of a bridge. Its was a ledge then a 10/12 foot drop onto the train tracks. The ledge was slanted and covered in dirt and gravel. There was red/green traffic lights to tell you when a train was imminent. It turned red so me and my friend new to walk along the ledge and get the fuck out the way, but my feet slipped from under me. Luckily I feel over and slid down, but not enough to fall off the ledge its self. Because it i had fallen i would 100% have been hit by the oncoming train. Scared the hell out of me, just i still went back to finish my tag 😜 i was alot more careful after that though and gradually stopped getting up over the years
it’s a relief to make a sketch or bomb to fuck shit up . I laughed so hard😂
