A walk among giant presidential heads
Dropped onto a swampy field in Croaker, Va., they've become an accidental tourist attraction: gigantic, decaying busts - some 20 feet tall, and weighing several tons each - of every U.S. president from George Washington to George W. Bush. Correspondent Rita Braver visits the giant presidential sculptures that are turning a lot of people's heads.

Anyone else find it eerie how Lincoln's head was damaged in the back, just like resembling his assassination at Ford's Theater?

Remember going to that presidents park shortly after it opened in 04. Was a Great scenic park environment with panels next to each bust about the president as you wind through all of them in chronological order. Ended with a gift shop. I’m just glad to see the busts are still around, and that it’s at least open sometimes for people to see

@@rezakarampour6286 i will be politically incorrect. we could put the live former president trumpster and current live president binden and they would fit in very well. empty headed and not doing much good for the country and making a concrete statue of them would be a waste of good concrete.
Had the pleasure of seeing the actual park in Williamsburg when it was up and running but starting to show its age. It is amazing how much I can see in the visitor's voices this experience means to them b/c it meant the same to me.
Damn, Lincoln can't catch a break
As a sculptor,I felt the same when I visited Rushmore. I wanted to climb up there, touch the work, understand it. Borglums studio showed me everything... This is awesome what he did saving those....

Glad he decided to rescue them. Hopefully, the money coming in will help with restoration. The other guy, God bless him on what he does too.
How cute, the sculptor didn’t realize he said a funny pun, “…they wouldn’t have gotten so busted up…”. So, the busts got busted up when they were moved. ❤️ 😊
Thank you for preserving the part history for ourselves and our children to learn and remember those that help shape our country.

Yes. HIS- STORY...
I visited the original Presidents Park in early 2004 after it had opened and remember speaking to Mr. Newman who opened and ran it back then. Very nice gentleman. I still have the coffee mug I bought that day at the souvenir shop.
Renowned Texan artist David Adickes sculpted Presidential Heads, which rest in Houston, TX., makes these so amazing. He adjusts the busts depending on where they are to be located so they appear correct when viewed from the ground. I've been to his studio in Houston and it's amazing... there are a number of these busts in and around Houston, TX.
This looks amazing
How awesome and how'd I miss those as a fan of nearby colonial billyburg?! A great report about an American recycler!!

Watch : ' The Crime Of The US Presidents '
GOOD Video; The widespread backwardness of our economy, increments in the price of gas, and rate of unemployment is becoming inconducive. cryptocurrency is down, consumer consumption is rumor to be down big time! This will cause income taxes to go up big time it's obvious we are headed for hyperinflation, unfortunately having a job doesn't mean been safe rather having multiple income streams that doesn't depend on the government would be a great decision...

Did anyone catch how ironic it is that the back of Lincolns head is destroyed?
What a beautiful park.
I wanna go oneday !
Freaken awesome
Ironic that Lincoln had damaged to the back of his head, eerily familiar
You mean to say that there was room for more after Barry Soetoro's head was placed there or did they just reduce it about 90% so it would fit?
😏 I like the zombie-esque vibes of some of these giant Presidential heads.
It's a shame that someone with a lot of money didn't preserve this attraction ... but they'll spend a billion dollars for a yacht. SMH
Unless the statues are stopped from decaying that place is going to look extremely creepy eventually
This is symbolic as to what will happen to the history of America. A season for everything under the sun. Whatever country you live in on earth, just remember that it's only temporary and not worth praising.

I say they should be restored with the funds that are coming in from visitors, but kept at the same location, the creator seems to agree when he said he would had fix it.

Like Mt. Rushmore
He should not repair them as they are it’s gives the feeling of walking among ancient ruins.
Sadly, when the heads were moved the creator was not contacted. He knew how best to minimize or eliminate damage to them.
