Julie and Luke are so awesome! As an American I am so proud of Julie’s enthusiasm being a caretaker of such a beautiful home and property! Her and Luke are so hands on in doing projects! They work so hard! Congratulations on what I’m sure will be an amazing visit for the Americans! Way to go!!

I would ask Julie as a great fun to tune into tea houses in America maybe 2 times a year - major fans here, specially California and NYC

I visited this gorgeous house yesterday 02.06.2024! The gardens are amazing! The weather was wonderful! And our guide great! And I saw a painting of "my" Queen "Catarina of Braganza"! I promised myself to visit it again!

Here in Portugal the Count of Calheiros upon opening his beautiful family home for visitors was asked if he felt somewhat ashamed. He replied never ashamed, but proud as he was keeping with the inheritance he was given. He was continuing the history of his family. Very kind and gracious of you to let us in on a tour of Mapperton as you prepare for the arrival of your guests! The bedroom and bath color schemes are beautiful and cohesive as you move from one room to the next. Especially loved ❤️that you provided some historical facts and noted some of the artwork. Thanks and wishing that someday my husband and/or family can visit or stay at your just breathtaking home.

I first learnt about the 4th Earl of Sandwich at school in the 1960's , growing up in the North East of England. It has stayed with me all this time including about the origin of the sandwich! It clearly made an impact then and I am thrilled to be learning more about the Montagu and Mapperton history, and the American Viscountess perspectives on your fascinating channels. I find it incredible, even all these years later, to be able to visit Mapperton both in person and virtually, it's exciting! Thank you for another interesting episode.

You home is lovely! We own a bed and breakfast in Kentucky. When you have lots of visitors, may I suggest that you put glass tops on your important furniture, also a cloth on your table to prevent rings on the table. This is just to protect your treasures! Again, beautiful tour.

The most Beautiful grand house in Britain not just because well Maperton is our favorite because of how relatable you both are but it gives this nostalgic Harry Potter and Hundred acre wood vibe. At a National Trust Property I volunteered with, they used holly leaves on a square of clear acetate on the chairs to deter people. The plastic was to protect the seat from any dirt or scratches from the leaves.

Luke looks like his mother and I am glad the house is being opened to guests as it is a huge upkeep and responsibility and one way to keep the house alive and cared for. My favourite bedrooms were the Tudor Room and the Persian Room. Hats off to the Sandwich family for keeping the home intact and to see the ancestors' portraits on the wall. The gardens are so pretty and it would be fun to play croquet there on the lawn and have a truly English afternoon tea with fruit scones, butter, jam and cream and of course the sandwiches :-)
