I have always enjoyed sunken gardens. A friend of mine have one of those manor and they have a cascading river running across their sunken garden, it's just very peaceful and charming, and private too and not windy because it's sunken haha

I'm enjoying your channel! My jaw dropped at the intro because I recently learned I am a direct descendant of William de Moyon/Moion! I started with my American great-grandmother Lucina Moon and worked backwards to that little suprise (the name having been changed in the mid-1600s with an immigration to Rhode Island). I can't wait to rock up to Dunster Castle someday, ye ole family homestead! I'll swing by Mapperton to collect my 70 shillings en route haha :)

Julie makes us proud in America as she has joined her husband's family and helped support her husband and his family in the responsibilities of preserving such an important part of English culture through preserving their ancestral home and grounds. Clearly theirs is a labor of love. Such lovely, gently loving couple. An example for anyone with the challenge of bridging a spouse's culture and country.

Julie a beautiful name like my baby girl, I wonder if my ancestors ever lived near it.

I've recently found out about this lovely Lady and her programmes (Smithsonian Channel) and presentation are absolutely delightful.

When you walked into the garden and commented on the smell of the orange blossom and tulips made me wonder if you have considered making candles that are seasonal combinations of the flowers in the garden. They could be gifts to clients as mementos of the beautifully and your beautiful home. Or they could be sold to guests. I know I would love to buy one. Thank you for the lovely tour!

Very well presented, although I lived in England as a boy ( dad was RCAF) later as a naval officer RCN. I could never get used to British sales commercials. This is North American, informative, visually stimulating, a presenter who very much owns into the product and who’s photogenic .Canada

What a lovely lady! Hasn’t she a wonderful smile in her face, when she gets flashbacks of her own wedding in this stunning place? Hasn’t been „Much ado about nothing“ filmed there with Kenneth Branagh and Emma Thompson? It’s such a beautiful property and you can feel, that the owners do their best to keep it perfectly in shape! May there be bigger, more luxury properties in the UK, but I love this one particularly because of the relative down to earth and authentic atmosphere.

You are so clever by exposing the beauty of this beautiful place and creating income venues to continue to aid to maintain the beauty of this place. I enjoy your explanation and the relationship you have with your in-laws. It is wonderful to share two world s in become creative to problem solving that I have no doubt you will continue to generate multiple sources of incomeand creativity of beautiful things. Just watched the 2 videos about cattle! Albie going to see the Ladies and now putting on the GPS collar. Wonderful let's see more over time, and how the herd is progressing. That should help Julie get over her fear. I am watching this in August 2022 so I am looking forward to seeing more in 2023. With much gratitude for all you do.

Thank you Jessica, we're doing our best with the Box and they are making a recovery. Some of the stonework is very delicate and may not take kindly to a pressure washer, but thank you for the suggestion anyway!
