Wow Malta's long history under 5 minutes, all important time line covered. Good video.
Well done, and because there is nothing better than a quick summary! Keep it up! 👍👏
Just one mistake, the elephants and hippos were not hunted to extinction. They were already extinct before humans

Correct. Was going to point it out myself.
Underrated tourist destination for history buffs. Warm water beaches plus 3000 years of historical sites!

I wish I could look out of my balcony to see dwarf elephants and hippos! nice video
I just stumbled upon this channel and its very good and informative in just a short amount of time. You gained a sub. Oh and Happy New year.
I'm a Maltese Historian and you did a great job in this video, you said all the periods in the history of Malta, perfect. Now the history of Malta's second biggest island, Gozo. KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK.

As a Maltese person, aren't the Gozitans still in the Neolithic era?

I do not think that there is a need for a video on Gozo's history. Whatever happened in Malta was reflected in Gozo.

curious what is the main source of revenue that sustains this island in modern times?
Thank you for this!!
That really was super quick! Very nice though. I was in Malta a few years ago, what a shame that I wasn't making videos back then...But, what's really great is that you usually choose those less popular countries to talk about. Keep it up!

I was there last month. It's pretty nice and lonely but please avoid going during the rainy season!
Great video.
when i was little me and my friends would go into the caves and ruins and there were always stories about them like witches and stuff. it was kinda horrifying but fun haha.
I am a Maltese history fan and I must say this is very detailed and accurate, well done.

Hello everyone and welcome to whoa!
Malta was not conquered by the french but they just welcomed them
So much has happened on these two little islands. Many countries in Europe wanted to have a piece of them. Next is the collection of Pacific islands that have been scarred by atomic bomb tests… the Marshall Islands! 🇲🇭
Next is the land of the bombing spot of the Americans, the land of the bikini atolls…. ITS THE MARSHALL ISLANDS!
In my understanding a big migration of sicilian and South Italian immigrants happned during the rule of the Arabs. So the immigrants where Islamic sicilians and Italians, (they were also under the same Arab empire at the time). This is why the Arab language is still so strong in the maltese language.
