    Can anyone confirm that Bassa, a language of Liberia, has only two terms for classifying colours; hui (for purple, blue and green) and ziza (for yellow, orange and red) ?

    ​@@ogatoni8856 I mean don't get me wrong a slew of corrupt leaders in Africa are definitely to blame as well but the effects of colonialism long after leaving has made much of the problem as well. Off the top of my head francafrique and apartheid have had lasting negative effects alongside Soviet, American, and Chinese imperialism. Its like a 60-40 split between the two or 50-50 might be more fair nowadays

    He got the Part wrong about the so called “Americo” which is a term only used after the 1980s Coup. The Black immigrants were Indigenous Africans who were recaptured from the illegal slave trade such as the Amistad mixed in with Free Blacks from the Caribbean, the U.S. and Canada. The grain cost indigenous would soon integrate into Monrovia but many indigenous people stayed in their own society’s inland.
