Hi Leanne, with the exception of the orange juice this recipe is one that l make every year around the holidays. I will try it with orange juice this year. Three points l would like to add: 1. Since this has a thicker consistency than a regular pie,l sometimes double the recipe and put it in a 9x13 inch pan and cut it into bars. 2. I typically top it off with a struesil mix . 3. This recipe is also excellent using slivered almonds instead of walnuts. It's also tasty whether you eat it warm or cold. Thank you for posting this recipe and l encourage everyone to try it. It's also so festive looking.

My favorite Thanksgiving dish is dressing, especially cornbread. This looks so good! I've never seen anything like it and since I love cranberries so much, I'm going to give this a try. Thanks.

Dressing and dumplings are my favorite😊

My favorite dish is the turkey itself, we raised French chocolate turkeys for many years. Cranberries are a close second! This looks delicious. As a former dairy farmer, not a fan of cool whip. I prefer real cream ! There is a version of cool whip now made with coconut milk and that is pretty good.I enjoy your channel very much.

Certainly looks easy enough. I always buy extra cranberries at this time of the year and freeze them so this is another way to use them during the year.

This recipe is a must try as I am not a good pie crust maker. My favorite dishes for Thanksgiving are potato filling, stuffing and cranberry relish. Wishing you and Howard a Very Happy Thanksgiving! God Bless!

Hi! New friend here from the list! I love a crust less recipe because making a crust just intimidates me. Also, I think the reason I’m not a huge fan of pie is because of crust. Honestly, my favorite dish(es) are my mom’s cornbread dressing as well as her Mac and cheese. I’m thankful that she taught me how to make both before she passed away.

This quickly became an easy to make favorite. I added orange flavoring instead of almond and I bake in a square pan. Really need to grease those sides! Thanks for sharing

LeAnne for me it is dark meat of the turkey with stuffing & Gravy !!! That is what I love the most of all !!! Buying a gluten free turkey to have cut into 2 pieces !!! Half for this year half for next year for myself !!! Will take about a years time to save up the end pieces of bread for myself for the stuffing !!! Otherwise it is chicken leg with thigh then for myself !!!

This pie looks absolutely delicious, LeAnne! I’m trying this one for this year’s Thanksgiving. I love Cranberries and so this will be a great addition to the menu. I’m always looking for something different. As far as my favorite thing at Thanksgiving, well that’s a tough one. I guess it would be homemade cranberry sauce and then , of course, the turkey! I really would love to learn how to make a tasty gravy. I just haven’t found the right recipe. Maybe you have a good one? Thanks so very much for sharing this recipe. 😊

I love a good squash casserole as well.

We don’t do a traditional Thanksgiving meal any more. We’ve had pizza, lasagna, prime rib, pork belly, it just depends on what we’re feeling. Even dessert tends to vary. Cheesecake, pie, rice pudding, has even meant a quick trip to IHOP for pie slices because everyone wants something different.

I made this for Thanksgiving. It is delicious!

Every year I buy a bag of cranberries and eventually throw it in the freezer until it gets freezer burned or I make cranberry bread or we move…😂 I’m for sure gonna make this.

LeAnne, I was watching some of your videos. Saw you commented on your stovetop bothering you. I have a black stove also. You can try Clorox antibacterial wipes. They work for me. Or carefully spraying Mr Clean multi purpose, rubbing with sponge then wiping with cloth to dry. Both keep me shining ❤️

Thanks for the tips! I have even used isotope remain alcohol with dawn and it still looks dirty. I use my stove on a twice daily basis.

Oh I absolutely love this. I absolutely LOVE cranberries. And now I'm wondering. I've never made a graham cracker pie crust but I've eaten pies with them. Do you think graham cracker pie crust just on the very bottom , Not on the sides, would taste good without messing up your recipe??
