I just love Tim’s sense of humour… the beating heart lol 😂🤣😅. Looking forward to see you working inside your mobile home again. You both work so hard and make a great team. Have loved seeing you cooking again….. wouldn’t mind being a table boarder at your house, that’s for sure 🥰

Tim looks like he’s lost a bit of weight. All that work and sweat will do it. Love Willow Berrys little bows! I’m sure you love putting them on her since she’s your only baby girl!🎀. Also like your dress! I love wearing skirts and dresses and wear them almost all the time now. So looking forward to your next renovation! Y’all may have to put up a privacy fence to keep the deer out of your garden. Can’t think of another way to deter them. Looking forward to the next vlog!

I find it interesting how times have changed. When I was a child, my mother would wash dishes by filling one side of the sink with hot soapy water and the other side with hot rinse water. No one does it that way any more. Yes, I’m old😂

I fast forward through most KZread videos when they wash the dishes because I can’t stand to see the water running the whole time! Such a waste, not the way I was raised, plus I pay for my water, makes a difference! (I watched Shyvonne Melanie once clean her entire bathroom sink, mirror and counter while the water was running! WHY!!! 😳😵‍💫😬Was she trying to kill us?)😟😵‍💫😖🙄

we have found that the best way to keep the deer out of our garden is to put up a "fence" of a strand of (clear) fishing line around the garden at about waist height. Supposedly, the deer will feel the fishing line when they bump it but can's see it to jump over it. It has worked for us for the past few years. (You can leave an opening on one end big enough for you to get into it with ease.

Oh yeah, one more idea. Deer will hop over a fence that is 6' tall. But, they don't like to hop over a double fence. They go up, not out, apparently. So if you added another fence around the current fence, that could help. I've thought of hanging bells, flags, and of course having a dog outside would deter them. You're right, they're rascals.

I hope it’s been cooler up in the mountains. The heat and humidity here in Williamsburg has been unbearable. Not to mention, we are in dire need of rain. That recipe looks fantastic! We always love when my husband cooks on the grill. My kids are grown but they’re here most everyday at one point or another but when their daddy’s cooking on the grill, I know to buy enough. He enjoys it too. I think Tim does too! Plus it’s one less thing I have to do! God bless y’all up there!

Valerie, you and Tim make me tired, you have so much energy, but I will be 75 in 4 months! I so so envy your Mountain View and as I've told you before, it makes me miss my old Kentucky home and the Kentucky mountains. Grew up in Letcher county, which is right on the Virginia/Kentucky borderline. I wish I lived close to you because I think we could be great friends. my sister lived in a single wide trailer and my brother lived in a double wide trailer. now they're called mobile homes or modular homes. I still use the word trailer and I don't see anything wrong with that. I am so looking forward to the kitchen remodel, but I realize that's down the road a bit.

I love what you've done so far. Like you, we have a lot of deer, and unless you want to put up an 8-10' fence, they'll hop over. So, last year I bought a wire chicken coop that is about 20' long and 9' wide. The doorway is over 6', so we can easily walk in, but the deer don't know how to open the door! It didn't have a floor, since it was for chickens, but a layer of wire would take care of keeping rodents out, as well. We haven't set ours up yet, but that's the plan before starting the garden. Anyway, food for thought.

She and her only sister was so much fun when they got together and we would go visit her and her , their sister in law they would talk loud and laugh loud. My mommy too. Me too. Also, a scarecrow and spray with cheap cologne or cheap men's cologne. I hang pie tins with streamers. I have a garden and this helps for me. Some people use Irish Spring soap. Just s few suggestins. It is alot of hard work to have deet eat the harvest. I love watching your videos.

I was hoping to see your garden, that’s to bad about the deer but not surprising. If you add a few tall posts to the existing fence you can extend your fence upward with a roll of shorter fencing. My fence is 5 ft high and the deer never get in. But the groundhogs were digging up under it so we counter sunk an additional small fence, now they can’t get in. Wish there was a fence to keep out the slugs. 😅❤

What a beautiful video. I hope you can stop the deer around your beautiful garden. I honestly have never had that problem. I wish you all a blessed rest of your week.

The way we keep deer and rabbits out is with electric fence. We just put one strand down about 2 inches from the ground and the next one a couple inches above it. It deters the deer by not realizing the fence is there and they get a little shock they quickly leave.

I just love y'all! Tim is so much like my husband. Y'all's supper looked so good! I'm going to have to try your teriyaki sauce...I normally don't like teriyaki but might could eat it the way you prepared it. Thanks for sharing y'all's day with us. Hope y'all have a great weekend.

Have you tried tulle? It's an inexpensive material used in either dressmaking or garden coverage. You can wrap it around the garden plot and the deer "should" leave it. They can be stinkers when they are hungry. if you put your dog out there, it might deter them too.

I googled how to keep deer out of a garden and there are some natural deterrents. Hope you find something so all your hard work gets to be eaten by you and your family. Really enjoy your videos.

My grandmother has a garden and she bought a sensor that makes a high pitched noise when something passes in front of it from the deer eating all her corn!

Valerie, I saw on another garden video that streamers tied around to blow help to scare the deer away. Someone even mentioned those big blow up figures that car lots use would be ideal waving around. I hope you find something to scare them away.

We have a netting fence inside our short fence. We grow the cucumbers on it. And we also made a wooden enclosure for the tomatoes. And we tied pie pans to the fence to make noise. And I also put pinwheels on the fence. Helps keep the birds out from eating our tomatoes. So for the last 3 years it has kept the deer out.

Love your videos! Tim is so funny! Suggestion, freeze those chicken trimmings and when you have enough, use them to make chicken stock. Then throw them away. Love and God Bless from NC!
