It is amazing how these blind horses can be so trusting. You wouldn't know they couldn't see.

With blind horses it can go either way. Some horses are incredibly calm, confident and trusting. They will allow another horse or human to be their eyes. Some horses just can't cope, they're terrified and in some cases can become a danger to themselves and everyone around them.

Amazing new episode! I am so thankful for everyone at Horse Plus rescuing equines. For my amazing mom, my father, all my friends and my late aunt, who taught me so much. What a scoop to get Dr Lydia full time she is an amazing vet and the knowledge she will share with Dr Gina will be invalulable. Maybe you’ll be able to set up an Equine Hospital for doing castrations etc for the public to help reduce the number of unwanted animals.

Yahoo for the great developments on the vet front. Dr. Lydia full time could have been the only thing better than the situation you had with dr. Nancy. But also having Dr. Gina as a second veterinarian at Horse Plus will guarantee continuity and excellent care for the lovely horses and long-eared equines. Great decisions! Definitely. If one is sick or has a family emergency or simply needs to take a break, the other is there. I was so worried when Dr Nancy announced she was leaving. But I think everything worked out in the end.

Cory is a great trainer.

OMG C(H)ell Yeh!!! Dr Lydia AND Dr Gina - So so awesome!!! Ive never seen anyone who hasnt loved Dr Lydia (YAY lady - you are coming back!!! Thats so cool!!! I hoped you might.) and Dr Gina - having seen you with the animals and the staff - I just love the interaction and you seem to fit right in like a glove like Emily has! It is like Emily has been there forever :D Kimberley as everyone else in the comments are saying - you , girl, are an absolute rock, you jump into any role and smash it :D John - mate - you and your chickens know how to cheer folk up, - I do have to ask - are your chickens at work cos your wife wont let you have them at home? Everyone else - you are ALL awesome - I love watching you do your daily stuff there at the shelter and dive int what needs doing no questions asked. You are all multiskilled which you have to be with what you all do!!! The donkeys are so cute - Tawnee can you postpack me one please? Not sure what the postage to Australia is but I know the quarantine is not cheap. The flight is about $30k these days I think to Sydney plus quarantine, then theres transport half way across the country to Whyalla, SA. Yeh, might be cheaper to just buy one here at some point in the future huh? There's always someone who has bred them 'cos they are so cute' then babied them, not gelded the jacks, and then runs into 'I don't know why he behaves like that, he was so sweet as a baby and was always curled up on the couch with the dogs' - ARGH yes cute - bring it inside for a photo on a lead - then back to the barn/stable/paddock.. Educate it as you would a horse but be precise with your instructions and teach correctly the FIRST time. Dont change the rules half way through... Thats why they get the 'stubborn' name - all equines and bovines, caprines, ovines etc - they are not dumb. Anyhow - YAY on the vet choices - whooooot :D

This is the second time I've seen this isn't it 🤔 or am I going crazy 😳 😅 So thankful you now have full time vets for all the wonderful animals ❤

Oh my gosh Tawnee, that's just the nest news ever!! 😃 So happy to have Dr. Gina joining HPHS (Welcome Dr. Gina) BUT SO EXCITED TO HAVE DR. LYDIA BACK PART TIME 😂!!
