Hey Hey Sundai!? Maybe you have already thrown it out, "the-almost-dead-plant". There is ONE LAST THING YOU CAN TRY. Take the plant out of the pot, and was away all the dirt you can, then, well you take the leftover ground coffee beans (the ones in the filter, NOT DIRECTLY FROM THE BAG, BUT AFTER YOU HAVE USED IT FOR COFFEE, SO THAT ITS "WASHED OUT" BECAUSE THATS TOO MUCH NOURISHMENT FOR THE PLANT, ALSO IT NEEDS TO BE COLD. You take new dirt, preferably the kind thats specific to that plant. You mix the new dirt with, the washed out leftover ground coffeebeans, and if you have some crushed eggshells, mix that in too. If you have specialized fluid water noorishment (the kind that is mixed with water) pour a little in there of that too. And maybe ONLY water it with a spraybottle for a while as well ??? I had a ficus that was medium- sized and I REALLY REALLY thought it was DEAD, because NOT ONLY had ALL the leaves fallen off, there wasnt coming any new green stuff at the tips of the branches, It was getting all "dried up" and crusty altogether. But I did this, and it got SO lush and green and so many leaves, that I HAVE NEVER SEEN IT LOOK BETTER!!! Its kinda like, "defillibration for plants" this method, so it will either make your plant REALLY HAPPY, and grow better than ever, or it will die ANYWAY. But its never failed me so far. And maybe let it have more sun, during this "little treatment", for optimal survival chance ???? Anyway, if you already know this, or have already have thrown out, Mr. Ficus (R.I.P. then), just ignore me.

Since we are a family, i'm gonna be raw with yall. I lost my job shortly after the year started and its been very hard. I've been applying but have gotten nothing so far and I'm worried about bills and rent . Safe to say my vision board goals are not being touched. Alas we press on and try to stay positive. Hey hun. First off sorry for the loss of job. Give yourself time to grieve what once was. However, don’t give up on your vision board. Sometimes God gives us what we want/need but it might not be in the way we thought the package was going to come. It comes in a better package. First off, you didn't lose your job, they lost you. Job hunting right now is wild. Look up the keywords you should use for the specific job title/job field and find a way to add them to you resume so that your it doesn't get immediately rejected. Using words from the job description and adjusting with every application is good as well. Hope this helps. You got it sis!

Bamboo art idea: You know how you can share spotify songs with the "spotify codes"? You could find a song that is like the theme song for the house, get the code printed on large paper, and then cut the bamboo poles to match the spotify code. I've seen people make these that are actually scannable, and that would both look beautiful and serve a fun futuristic function! Not sure if you have enough bamboo though.

Fiddle leaf figs are renowned for being hard to keep happy as houseplants. They need a lot of light, way more than can be achieved indoors unless you have a conservatory. They also hate any change or inconsistency in care and react violently.

I love the idea of the bamboo floating and illuminated from behind. I think painting one blue, using a blue light behind, and using a warm white light behind the others.. that one would be fire

Ironically, my favourite cities are Kyoto and Kamakura 😂 I just love older cities/architecture and I dont like modern big cities & skyscapers etc. 😅

Its always been Tokyo for me. But I tend to stay away from Shibuya, Tokyo, Shinjuku stations etc. And hang out in areas in great Tokyo. Now if I lived in Japan, different story, I totally live in Kanagawa/Yokohama. Close enough to get to Tokyo quickly but not crazy crowded to live in everyday

A collection of Small bamboo frames showing pictures of the reno progression. Showing the traditional walls etc all the way to your beautiful completed modern home that highlights the traditional beams

You guys just describe one of the many things I love about my marriage. We can both work in the same room or house without really talking, just focusing. And then have lunch together and dinner, hanging out.

I LOVE the idea of showcasing some of the "bones" of this house/project 😍 You could stain the bamboo but keep them the same color to lowkey pay "homage" (hope I spelled that right 😅) to the original house, maybe paint the canvas an ombre blue to resemble that post sunset darkness and tie in the blue in the Blue Bamboo, and set the bamboo up to look like a city night line in the distance or something. Maybe you could poke holes in the canvas to feed some tiny lights through to make it look like twinkling stars.

😝 I forgot you were in Japan too! That club looked like home. Plus your fam visiting 🤌🏽. ALWAYS good to see Black folks having fun together abroad 🖤.

Hello! You could glue each bamboo piece to a canvas. Depending on how many pieces you save you can paint one blue the others green. And create a bamboo forest painting around the pieces. I hope i explained myself clearly 😂 I tend to jumble things Lol! 😊

from my vision board: I got the job I wanted, planned a trip for summer and finished a book! some of these goals have been from last year but I'm completing them now. proud of my progress and always trusting in God's timing!

I’m SO sad about the fig tree!🥺 I loved it so much. Your plant was so beautiful and I HAD to get one, so I did! It really did bring the whole room together! About the bamboo, I was thinking maybe a wall hanging? And you could even put beads hanging from it? But I did really like the canvas idea too! You could do so much with them.

Sending love from Reno NV 💗 the weather has been testing my garden too! It was warming up a couple weeks ago to the point some of my plants started growing back, some of which I didn’t even know can survive winter 😅 i had a strawberry plant that was growing leaves but we’re currently having a big snow storm now. I had to dig it up and put it in a container inside. Also, maybe for those pieces of bamboo from the demo, you could set them in a shadow box frame and drill a hole in the back so you can run led lights inside and behind the bamboo like you were saying. That could be kinda cute and it would give them more support than a canvas but either way, super excited to see how it turns out!

I live in the Seattle, WA area and this winter was mellow, usually there is snow for a week or two, but not this time. It was a warm winter here, with not all that much rain. There was a bit of sleet here and there, but it never stuck to the surfaces outside. I'm just glad that the days are getting longer and the cherry blossoms and other plants are coming back to life! I hope you love your new house after you settle in! 🌻🌹🍀

I only got to do Tokyo in my 2022 trip, and I loved the fast paced walking lifestyle of the quit nighborhoods inside the city and a short trainride to the main multiple city centers. my nxt trip though im sooo excited to check out more secret gems.

Great question! I guess I never really set any goals specifically but I would say that 1 goal that I had was more so a joint goal with my wife and that was to purchase a home. Several opportunities did present itself but in the end we ultimately decided to wait given my dissatisfaction with my current work environment. So change of plans, now the only goal I have for this year is to land a government Job in either Korea or Japan. Wish us luck! 😅

Totally relate to being a big lover girl in any relationship (includes platonic). It's nice to know there are others like me out there 😁
