For the garlic, just let them sit in room temperature water for 5 minutes. The skin comes off easily.

The answer: In Japan, the Japanese language acronym translates into English as: IRP or sometimes RIP (no pun intended) ... IRUP (Investment Rental Unit Property) or RIP (Rental Income Property) which if done correctly, a foreign investor (such as the very smart Sundai Love who has property in a "very nice area" of Kamakura) can become "financially free" (financially secure enough that you can pay off financial debt; i.e., car loans, student loans, outstanding credit card balances, etc. that have "tied your hands" back in the previous country you lived in) - and if you make ALL of the correct decisions and NO mistaken decisions, you can even become moderately wealthy, and can retire long before normal retirement age back in America or Western and Southern Europe - in fact... "Full Retirement" 15-20 years earlier than normal (equals the age of 50-52 years old) retirement, and living in relatively "crime free Japan" forever is not uncommon now in certain parts of beautiful Japan - even in beach resort areas like my fellow American friends, who all have "no regrets" at leaving the United States and becoming "ex-Pats".

This was lovely. All of it. I am being positive about 2024 but feeling….. Admittingly weary. 2023 I had some huge wins and some humbling sad and scary losses. I got sick sick this past yr. Scary sick. And to top it off rona 2 times since the fall. Getting over respiratory infection from that, thanks God, no pneumonia. I needed a win today. I was able to take out the trash, clean up a lil and put away my groceries today. Hopeful , smiling but weary. Happy 2024. God please completely restore me and please make the worst behind me for a while. I need a lot more wins.
