On my islands, the thought bubbles don't always mean they want to move. It is usually because they bought two of something and want to give me one, they fought with another villager and want me to deliver an apology gift, or want to hang out at their house/my house. So not sure if that is the same for everyone. I love your long videos. Don't worry about that :)
