i have a build idea for your island: you could make a strawberry field. I don't know if it would fit the theme you are planning, but i think it's a pretty easy build for your island. You can use the pansies that aren't grown for the strawberries and put them on top of sand so they don't grow. you can also use the strawberry hat, dress and umbrella, since they aren't items. Also, since you can make customs designs of umbrellas, you can also use those as decoration, since i think they don't count as items (i hope im correct). How do you get strawberries in Acnh ?

you should totally time travel to fall to get mushrooms to decorate your forest with! and if you manage to get the glowing moss hat diy and turn it around it looks kinda like the glowing moss stools! I‘m super excited to see what else you come up with :)

With the weeds, you can sell them to Leif and he'll give you double the amount of bells you would normally get from selling them at Nook's. ALSO, upgrading Nook's Cranny does go towards improving your island rating. But you need to have bought or sold at least 200,000 bells worth of items. With the items you buy though, you don't have to decorate the island with them, just give them to villagers or put them in your house's storage.

I think a pacific northwest forest would be super cool and moody. You could time travel to a foggy day/time and have a rocky beach/twilight vibe to the beach with the seaweed. I love the forestcore idea.

a couple build ideas for you! use a big fish (sea bass potentially) then cover the front of it with those feet fossil items to make a table! also i know you did this on your last 30 day island but you could do another gyroid painting class as you can use tree stumps as seats and just any custom design placed to make a painting with an easel. you could make a fishing lake/pond and make a wood planking custom design to make a mini doc and use one of the small fish (eg sea horse) placed as a cute fishing bucket or the water bug thing and you could used dropped fish bate aswell!! just wanted to say love you lots raven and good luck for the island!! 💗💗

Here’s a thought. You can use tree stumps as places to sit on ur island! One thing I think is always crucial about decorating islands is having sitting areas like benches or tables and I think a tree stump can be a good substitute for that maybe. 🩷🩷

I literally just got back into animal crossing after being really burnt out. I restarted my island and started doing the challenge with you. (but I'm using items😂😂) AND I CHOSE FORESTCORE ! I'm so excited now! I was on the edge of my seat waiting for you to say what it was, in the back of my mind I assumed that that would be it and it is!! I currently have Marshal and Leonardo. I spent 1 ticket to get marshal and 5 to get Leonardo. I'm not sure if tigers belong in forests but there's one in mine😂 I'm hoping for Teddy, Maple, Fauna, and maybe Cally!

Yess!! since I heard Bearing for the first time I thought 'forestcore' so I'm happy you finally decided on that ❤ I also would like you to do a proper cottagecore island sometime in the future with items and no restrictions 😊 so, very good decision if you ask me!

Have you ever seen those cool custom designs with umbrellas? Like when placed at a certain angle it can look like an item depending on the design I think that would be a great idea for this island if yk what I mean lol

I would really love to see a theme where all the items are DIY. I don't see myself starting my own ac channel since the game isn't as loved as it was when it was new, but I started a southern hemi island of my own today and I think I might challenge myself to do that, getting all the materials ethically and crafting everything myself.

I love that theme! I’m actually doing that theme on my island right now, Maple is one of my dreamies that I haven’t found yet. Good luck! - A tip I have which I used a lot is add tons of water. I was inspired from the sunken waterfall path, using tons of water and flowers. Use tons of waterscaping, which can take up space to help with no items

my island is the theme of your island. I have lots of villagers with cabin houses and I have some villagers with different colored cabin houses which really helps Ive needed help with finishing my island for sooo long and watching your videos will help me drastically.

This island is a perfect opportunity to go nuts with waterscaping and cliffs! And besides trees, please use a ton of bushes and the glowing moss and weeds and flowers! Gyroids as little forest spirits! Custom designs like mushrooms in the forest and little forest flowers and ahhh IM SO EXCITED

Hey Raven! Love this series and so gald you are doing it again. If you need to fill up larger spaces you could always make a lake or a flowerfeild :) I often do this when I don't know what else to do with spaces on my island :) And they can also be quick builds since you only have 30 days :)

Hi Raven! I love your series. Just a idea for a build, you could build a fashion show if you make/have the clothes, and make a red carpet path, and the flowers/bushes/trees. I feel like this would be perfect for a snooty/ peppy villager or in general!

A few build ideas: Standee buildings (brick coffeeshop?) Orchard/farms (trees, crops, and tools) Picnic birthday party (gift, cupcake, balloons) Duck/frog pond (waterscaping and codes) Reading spot (tree stump and book code) Flower field with curvy path You can use the little handheld flags as markers for the orchard/farms, the easels for store signs, umbrellas for boxes/crates, and standees for height in builds!

On the first 3 episodes, I guessed that it would be forest-core as you were super excited for the villagers you got and the name of the island! Well done to me! 😅

My animal crossing island is forestcore, and honestly, i dont have very many items, mostly just trees, flowers, and tons of shrubs, so i feel like you can do it raven! keep up the good work!! ♥

Ahh those yellow mums might be the special kind that you dug up D: I read that it’s easier to breed rare flowers if you just put sections of two colours next to each other with gaps in between them, that way there’s no confusion as to what the bred flower is. I got green mums planting all of my yellow duplicates in a separate area, breeding those to make purple (but you have to get rid of any yellow duplicates there) and then breeding those purples, and finally one day I got a green one! 🌱

Honestly i thought it would be forestcore because on lack you said another core that you could do with this kind of challenge would be forestcore. So before the series even started i thought you would do forestcore, and you getting all that cottagecore/ forestcore stuff like the villagers and black cosmos just made me more sure of forestcore. For bench / chair you can use tree bump (idk how to call it sorry 😭) and forest core for your island is so good for your challenge!

Totally guessed the forestcore theme - for potential villagers, I really think Grizzly would work! He's a bear and his house is super forest core. The interior is camping themed!! I might be biased though lol he's my absolute favorite villager

Its not super foresty but I have a little "surf shop" on my beach, I have the fishing vests and nook accessories set up with a stall and that tiki looking gyroid as the seller. You cant use the stall but it could still work or somthing similar. Also youve gotta do an apple orchard with cider station, i dont think all drinks show up as items?

as a person with a forestcore island, i’m very excited to see you attempt one without any items ✨✨

Forestcore is my island theme!!! I did like a camp vibe for most builds and so far it looks very aesthetic

Grizzly would absolutely be perfect for Forestcore! He has such a cute lil wood cabin! I put him on his own lil wooded island so it’s like cabin in the woods! I also gave him a cute lil tomato garden!

I started this challenge yesterday, and considered forest core, but I want a museum surrounded by dinosaur skeletons near an aquarium and a bug area, a village house that's a record shop, a Nintendo merch store (NTDO hat, matching wet suit/ snorkel/ water shoes) outside Nook's, lots of custom dress forms outside Abel Sisters, maybe a shoe store villager house... I don't know how to make any of that into a theme, though, along with meadows, waterfalls, and all the natural stuff, so I'm still deciding on an ultimate direction.

I guessed the theme correct! I have no evidence of this because I never commented my guess but I feel special lol. I'm so excited about this series I've been looking forward to the new episode every day

One note: If you have so many trees you won’t be able to reach the goal of having a 5 ⭐️ island (Isabelle doesn’t like too many trees). I would add medium sized trees as they don’t count as trees and don’t effect the 5 star rating!!

I think you can get away with another big lake like you had on pelican bay! another way to fill more space with no items!

Not sure if this will help but you can always make custom design patterns and put them on umbrellas in builds !!

Idea: have groids all around the island to create music and add different vibes to the forest😊
