Every time I see Red and Blue's faces live I am reminded both how accurate their cartoon portrayals are, but also how Aesthetically incredible they both look. If an author were describing characters who were supposed to visually represent the kinds of characters that Red and Blue portray in their videos, I would expect them to look very much like that.

I feel like Indigo would be Gandalf - organizes the party and explains enough to keep the plot moving, but also appears and disappears at random to keep everything behind the scenes running smoothly.

43:31: I acidentally conditioned myself to have a fight-or-flight reaction to the song "Dancing Queen" by ABBA when I set it as my ringtone, having forgotten that few things make me more anxious than an unexpected phone call. I can't hear that piano glissando without my blood running cold.

Blue is surprisingly gorgeous. The voice fit so perfectly!

All of them are unreasonably pretty, but it always surprises me just how cute Indigo is.

Red’s got the right idea for time loops: I’d also use one to catch up on all the shows I want to watch.

Theory: the Rome video blew up because everyone was last minute studying up for midterms.

Indigo, I am thinking of a Thieves Guild NPC that squats at the side of the room, sometimes honing a blade, sometimes flipping it, and sometimes dropping it. Lol

1:14:00 I'd pay for a "God of War: Ragnarok" mod that changes the thing that Atreus sees when he looks through the mask at the crack in reality, and one of the things is OSP's Detail Diatribe about "God of War: Ragnarok".

In regards to the lonely Skies detailed diatribe the reason why I didn't watch it is because I don't want to get spoiled but I'm also taking my damn sweet time beating Tears of The Kingdom

I love the detail diatribes bc the concept of "I'm gonna rant at you about this thing living in my brain and *you can't stop me"* is one of my favorite things

I listened to this episode on spotify and when I heard there would be cars in the video, I was exciting to watch the video once I got home. But then I fell asleep and forgot at what time the cars were in frame, so I rewatched the whole thing. The cars grace us with their presence at 1:07:50 . Worth it

Someone just asked me who the 'gorgeous Twink doing the Wordsworth cosplay' is. I am still snickering quietly. For what it's worth it was certainly intended as a compliment. For me, I am still trying to comprehend that any of y'all actually have corporeal existence. For some reason your little avatar beans were reality for me, and when I saw somewhere that you guys had done a live action podcast, I think I assumed I was gonna see your wee avatars in 3d animation. Anyway, I love your channel, and my own vote for best piece is definitely the one about anthropomorphic death. That one, for various reasons really hit home with me, and has meant a lot.

As an addition to Red's Travel Tips, hard shampoo, body-wash and deodorant take up MUCH less space than bottles and are honestly just as good. I switched over half a year ago and have found that they last longer, as a rule, as well.

The only channel I can think of that's lasted E L E V E N years and hasn't had some kind of controversy of some sort

I've already rewatched the Uncharted Diatribe twice which, given my habit of not rewatching a video for months after the fact, says a lot. Hats off to Blue bc that whole thing slapped and his feral excitement throughout the whole thing was the cherry on top.

I feel compelled to rewatch all of OSP now.

I love getting to see the thoughts of the creators about these videos that have been a wonderful part of my life this year. And a special shoutout to indigo's impeccable segways between segments.

Thoroughly enjoyed Red's video on TotK's Lonely Sky, despite it being "slept on". I haven't finished a Zelda game for a long time due to reasons but i really enjoyed Red's coverage of one corner of this massive game. Good job. Keep it up.

Happy new year to the awesome OSP team! [and the kitties, of course!] Gilgamesh was my favourite of Red's this year, and the Castles of Wales was my favourite of Blue's, because I love ancient ruins, and especially in that part of the world. The Groundhog Day question really got me thinking, and it'd probably be the time I went to see the Lion King play, because it's one of my most treasured memories, and that way I could see it again as much as I wanted. Either that or the day I went to the ROM [Royal Ontario Museum], which was a long trip, but totally worth it. If I Groundhog Day-ed that, I could visit the whole museum! Though, I'd only go for this if I was in complete control of it and could end it at any time, so....yeah. [....Darn it, Red's catchphrase is permanently one of my catchphrases now.] If I was an NPC, I'd be the local weirdo who gives meta game knowledge and where to find the most overpowered items or weapons or whatever, and stuff like that. Maybe I'd be a Skitty in Pokemon Explorers of Sky who just appears in various comedic fashions out of nowhere, ranting about X-Ray Specs, or I'd sneak into Hades and just pull pranks on Zagreus and mess with him while secretly giving him useful advice. Also, I just started my Discworld re-read marathon, so reading Aurora will probably have to wait 'til the end of the month. But I'm still super excited about it! Also also, I couldn't watch the Tears of the Kingdom Detail Diatribe, or, any of Red's playthrough streams, no matter how much I wanted to, because I haven't played it yet, and I want to keep avoiding spoilers! So, uh, yeah, there's my excuse. I will watch them, possibly next year. [My gaming backlog is huge, and is going to morph into Colossus-sized this year.]

Red talking about how she brings just a backpack on a week-long international trip is so great, but so opposite to me. I stayed at my parents (in the same city) for the weekend over Christmas and had so many things. It took two trips (with help) to carry it all in from my car.

Hey Red, can you do a trope talk on ancient civilizations specifically? You bring the idea up a lot in your various trope talks and detail diatribes, particularly the lonely sky of hyrule, and the trope talk of ancient superweapons, but you mainly focus on how ancient civilizations mix into these topics, and and the themes they introduce, but you haven't gone in depth about ancient Civilizations as a whole yet. That's something that both myself and many of my fellow fans of your videos would enjoy to see from you.

I think a possible factor the the zelda detail diatribe being less viewed because the very beginning does say there will the spoilers for the end of a game that is designed to be circuitous and long lasting, that's why I haven't watef it yet, just haven't finished the game

Happy new year OSP! ^_^ Chiming in on the "what day would you choose for a groundhog day-style time loop, and what would be the exit condition?" question... I'm with Red in that I would just love have a "couch" style Groundhog Day. I'd love the opportunity to finish learning Japanese and piano and tackle my TV/movie/game/book backlog in earnest, and a repeating time loop would give me infinite opportunity to do so! I'm tempted to make the exit condition "finishing my backlog".... but I know that inevitibly, even if I had all the time in the world to tackle my backlog, I would inevitably add to it as I went along, and thus, I would never be finished 😂Maybe my exit condition should be "finish every Final Fantasy" or "finally watch all of Reboot except for season 4" or something 😉

She started doing editing for blue. But now she is in charge of the podcast (which she originally pitched). She also does editing work for other people the channel is friends with and is on rolling with difficulty (and edits it)

I could just be weird or the songs are so damn good but I still love Marty Robbin's Big Iron and Bury The Light after using them both as my alarm songs.

If you're going to NZ, I can also recommend the capital (wellington) with several filming locations, the weta cave, and some specific museums (if you're a LOTR fan), as well as beautiful scenery, a zoo and a bird reserve (zealandia), nature preserve island in the harbour (soames island), many different beaches. If you're of an architectural bent then the beehive (parliment), st james cathedral, and multiple random buildings around the historic district (cuba st). Standard pretty botanical gardens. Christchurch (South Island) has a neat little zoo and some restored architecture from their earthquake, but mostly it's just calm and nice Hamilton - another zoo and the Gardens, which are AMAZING - there are ones that are themed on different garden styles, and even more that are designed to be beautiful artistic pieces. Auckland - avoid if you can, super crowded.

Red has a point with a week being the upper limit of packing light. I pack the same for a week away as I do for a month (or more) away. The biggest difference is when I throw 2kg box of washing powder in.

I was at PAX Unplugged in Philly also, since I live in the Philly suburbs and enjoy board games. Would have been cool to run in to you there, although not sure I'd recognize you instead of your blue drawing lol. Philadelphia's city hall is a really cool looking old building for sure.
