Interesting how their thoughts on Detail Diatribes are "Most people don't have time to watch these, so they're hit or miss" when my experience has been specifically binging all of them over and over again. Detail Diatribe has been my favorite newer segment of OSP. Recently, I've been more interested in long-form content. Detail Diatribe scratches that itch and it's two people that I enjoy listening to already.

@@nickalasmontano1496 using models would cut down on post-production for individual videos, since whoever's editing wouldn't have to insert the individual slides of the avatars. At the same time, it would make the initial recording a bit more complicated on account of having to make sure the model's being recorded and is on a transparent background. (I think, I am possibly the least professional human)

I momentarily thought Red was wearing a ball gown and fancy gloves.

For some reason after I heard the words, "Iliad" followed shortly by "Pumpkin spice lattes" my mind was like "I bet the ancient Greeks would've absolutely lost their marbles if they had discovered coffee" idk why but im imagining a bunch of greek philosophers arguing over whether or not coffee is good or not or something like that.

1:07:38 Exactly, Red was my first exposure to asexuality, it took time but ultimately being finally aware of this concept impacted my life a lot. And my case of course isn't unique and I can't imagine all the people that shared this experience.

I was vaguely aware of asexuality before Red and Blue started speaking about it a lot, I think it was the LGBT awareness month. However, when they did, it was an experience of "yeah, makes sense. Wait a bit..."

Yeah, it is one of those things that are misunderstood by many cisgender heterosexuals in my area. Often with accusations of pedophilia where I live by people who are brought up with the mistaken idea that anybody "hiding" who they are attracted to must be some kind of sex offender.

I laughed extremely hard with Red talking about pulling a Villefort mostly because I struggled with The Count of Monte Cristo. It is great listening about the process behind and around the videos, as well as joking about them.

Could any fans do me a favor and clarify who all the other colors are? I know Red is the literary one and main contributor to the channel, while Blue is the history one, and that they know each other from college. But the rest is hazy. I know one blue related color is Blue's fiancee (or even wife at this point?) But I don't remember which one. Are the other bluish colors also related to Blue in some way? And I seem to remember there being at least one non-blue related color. It's something I've been wanting to ask for a while, and this just seems like it might be a good place to do it.

Ok so Cyan is Blue’s wife, Yellow is a friend of theirs with their own channel called Ludo history (might be wrong on the name), and anyone called Green is a friend from school or old roommate or just someone they have known for a while. Also the other one in this video is Indigo who hosts their podcast, and I believe edits some other videos to?

@@DragonsDungeon the Greens are former roommates of Blue's, they tend to come up in the podcasts. I don't if Indigo does any editing, I have it in mind that she has a few podcasts that she manages, so she might be a little too busy

To add further details, Indigo is OSP’s main (and only) editor. Magenta is Red’s brother made one appearance and will not make any other appearance. There are 6+ Greens as explained above. There are 2 Oranges: one of them is the organization Feeding America and the other is another friend of Blue.

I got the Women History Makers deck and Girl Power deck for my nieces. The elder wasn't particularly impressed, but she's an adolescent, so that's not that surprising. The younger had precisely the reaction I was hoping for. When looking through the Girl Power deck, she asked me who Mary Shelley was, and she absolutely lit up when I said, "Mary Shelley is widely considered the first science fiction writer. She wrote Frankenstein."

Who hopes OSP gets a chance to play Monster Prom? So we can hear their thoughts on all the characters, who gets their prom date, and which of them is better at voice acting

Monster Prom would be fun, but really hard to do unless everyone was in the same room. Plus, 75% of OSP might be uncomfortable but ok overall. Now Monster Camp would have to be filtered heavily. Like so much.

For me, the detail diatribe on super saiyans was quite good because it was something incredibly influential in the culture of children when I was a child, but I never watched it really. So I liked learning more about it, and some of the good parts of it. It was very interesting to learn about a Dragon Ball before the powerscaling wars.

There might not be death, shame, or obsolescence about the internet, but you both made the world a slightly better place. And if you ask me, there is not much more anyone could've done.
