They won't reveal any Switch 2 titles mate. They clearly said that it would be focused in titles coming this 2nd half of 2024. There is still a lot to come to Switch 1.

Remakes are most likely, and i think Pokémon Black & White are coming. Also, imagine if they pulled out a Paper Mario 64 remake to make it 3 Mario RPGs in a row. it would make sense for Metroid Prime 2 to get the HD treatment too. DKC Returns HD would be sweet too, with the extra content the 3DS version had.

2024 could possibly be the year of Mario, so far we have gotten Mario Vs Donkey Kong Remake and Princess Peach Showtime, we have two upcoming games being Paper Mario The Thousand-Year Door Remake and Luigi's Mansion 2 HD Remaster. A new Mario Party game is rumored to release due to some codes getting leaked. I have a good feeling that we might get Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Games Paris 2024 sense there has been a game every four years in the series since the series began back when Beijing 2008 released, we might also get some more remakes. Its just so much that could happen

Dang, normally we have like 24-48 hours to make Direct predictions in one big rush- this wait is gonna be a lot

I hope this June Nintendo Direct is huge because I hope we do finally get a sequel or port of Tomodachi Life and add the Miitopia Mii Maker to it and also get the Miis that people created online. And then we could finally get two games in one for full-on remakes of both Kirby Triple Deluxe and Kirby Planet Robobot and also add new side-story modes for both Taranza and Susie just like how they did with Magolor in Magolor Epilogue. I know that we're getting a remake of Kirby and the Rainbow Curse but I hope they can add new playable characters to go along with Kirby and Bandana Waddle Dee like King Dedede and Meta Knight. Hopefully, we could get a new Mario Party Game since we already have Super Mario Party and Mario Party Superstars so hopefully, we do get a new Mario Party game with new boards, new minigames, and maybe a new roster. For the new Kirby Game maybe we could get a spin-off of either Kirby Battle Royale or a sequel for Kirby's Dream Buffet or Epic Yarn or Kirby Air Ride but if it's a new one then hopefully we could see a sequel for Kirby and the Forgotten Land and have new playable characters in it like King Dedede, Meta Knight, Elfilin, and Clawroline. And when it comes to the new Kirby Games I hope that they don't use the Club King Dedede design because it doesn't even look like Dedede it looks like a club penguin so I hope they use the Star Allies design of Dedede and that one in new Kirby Games and I hope that design is not permanent either. I hope we do get new information and a release date for Epic Mickey Rebrushed because I played it on the Wii back then as a kid and I really want to play it again on Switch. Also maybe we could see Super Mario Land, Super Smash Bros 64, Kirby Nightmare in Dreamland, and Maybe Wario Land 4 coming to NSO. And for the final announcement maybe they could announce a new 3D Mario Game or the new Mario Kart Game Mario Kart 10. And yeah that's all my predictions and I hope this last General Nintendo Direct in June will be a really good one instead of a very bad or short one.

Aaaa I love Metroid Prime Hunters. It's my first Metroid game that started my love for the Metroid Prime series. Would love to see that one get an HD remaster to the Switch as well alongside Prime 2 and 3. It also has a fun multiplayer mode that could be even better if they gave it online support alongside it

I think Metroid Prime 4 could be announced this direct. The time isn't really *THAT* short. I'm not sure why everybody on KZread acts like a few months is an incredibly short time. It's also the case that it could very well be a cross-generation game. They show off the current Switch graphics for the reveal, then when the next-generation Switch is announced, they reveal that it will have enhanced graphics on it.

I hope they would bring more of the Fire Emblem games to switch. I'd be pretty happy with that.

Who knows it might be surprising, especially with it might be the final general direct of the year discussing games focusing on the current Switch. Because you never know come this September of this year Nintendo could very much reveal details about their next new system.

I’m just like, we are overdue for DK! It would be a dream come true to see even a tease of a 3D DK game! DK64 is the first game I ever played, and thus holds a special place in my heart for it. I would be excited to no end if that 3D DK game was in the same vein as that, but even bigger, bring all the kongs back, plus maybe even one or two new ones, and see the Kremlings and K.Rool return! In other words, I’d want that next 3D DK game to go bananas!

You mean, "Nintendo Switch 2 having Nintendo Switch Online". Now I was disappointed when Virtual Console did not return beginning with the Switch family (despite it being the brand for retro games --including the Wii, Wii U, and 3DS systems). And for retro games it instead uses the new brand "Nintendo Switch Online". So that is what the Switch 2 family (counted the Switch 2 AND Switch 2 Lite) should use. It should be "Nintendo Switch Online" for retro games.

I honestly think we'll get a Mario and Luigi remake or even a brand-new title in the series. Maybe a F-Zero game.

I have the most convoluted and irrealistic expectation to see something about the next Mario Movie - which is presomptually based on a spin off series. As Charlie Day said he was pressuring for a Luigi's Mansion Movie, it could be a Luigi's Mansion movie; and since we probably will have the direct right before Dark Moon, it could give a push for the game to announce that the next Mario Movie would be a Luigi's Mansion Movie... It's kind of convoluted but it seems to me all logical. Or maybe, more realistically, they'll do that for the remaster of the original Luigi's Mansion.

If think that they handle Metroid Prime 4 like Breath of the Wild so it comes out for NS and NS2 because it feels to similar i mean both were announced for the console, both need so long to develop that the new console is getting announced so why dont both take the same route there?

One thing I will say is that Nintendo loves surprises. They definitely don't do it often, but boy when they do. They do it spectacularly. While I don't think we will see anything about Switch 2 in June's Direct, we could see Metroid Prime 4 for the first time in ages not really specifying what console: simply putting it as: Coming to "Nintendo Switch Systems in 2025" . Btw since we are talking about a "successor" console and not entirely new hardware, with the Wii, remember when the Wii U was first mentioned on April 25th, 2011 and then revealed at E3 2011. We are about a week ahead from that date in relation to how Furukawa mentioned the Switch 2 for the first time just yesterday. However, they have decided they wont reveal switch 2 in June like the Wii U was back then. I mean with E3 gone, and new people in charge at Nintendo, it makes sense they would do some things differently. From what I gather, it looks like they are going to reveal and release it in the same fashion and timeline as Switch: Reveal in Fall, Release in Spring which I think is good. Nintendo realized releasing a console during holidays especially after covid, is probably not the best for mass production and keeping up with demand. If the Switch 2 comes out this fall, most likely bots would eat up pre-orders and actual gamers and consumers would have their switch 2's backordered for months, Nintendo would fall behind shortly after launch. it would be a mess. So releasing in Spring allows them more time to ramp up production to exceed demand and plus it gives developers more time to polish and finalize their games! So yeah, long and short of it: Switch 2 will be announced most likely in October or even September and the games are gonna be big! Nintendo definitely has a lot cooking and I think we might have the most jam packed brand new (no ports FINALLY!!) First Party line-up in a long LONG time!.. Since the Wii U basically! The wait will be worth it folks!

Im waiting for the inevitable video telling everyone to lower their expectations for this direct.

8:35 - honestly, they will do it like every other similar game: Use the gyro sensors in the JoyCons. Yes, technically speaking the right JoyCon has an IR camera. That is very true. But let's not forget that with the Wii that the IR camera is only half of the equation! The other half is the sensor bar. The IR sensor tracked the sensor bar; that's why the Wii's cursor never drifts. The Switch doesn't come with a sensor bar, and I doubt Nintendo will come out with new hardware for just a port of a game, especially just before the launch of the next generation system. I suppose they could also use some AI tech as the IR camera is quite good - but again, a lot of effort for just a port of a game. If it comes out, it's going to be gyro controls with the drift that comes with them, and you'll need to reset every so often. The best you can really hope for at this point is an improved algorithm that drifts less.

My wishlist is to see Nintendo finally complete the trifecta of Mario RPG games, (plz add the Mario and Luigi series!!!), and Pokémon Black and White remakes (also Black 2 and White 2!!!)

I would loved to see Xenoblade Chronicles X come to the Switch, because I really liked it on the Wii U and it would be cool to see more of it via new content with on it’s story too. I feel like the ending in X was left out in the air or kind of an cliffhanger of what’s gonna happened next after the end of the game’s story. I hope there will be something that can potentially connect it to the whole series since Xenoblade Chronicles 3 is fully connected with the first two games, but not really with X. So, it’ll be interesting to see Xenoblade Chronicles X will be beside with the whole series together in one console together!

I have a list of things I would love to see ported onto Nintendo Switch. Legend of Zelda Ocarina ot Time, Wind Waker and Twilight Princess. Pokemon Colosseum and XD Gale of Darkness

Alright first and only prediction for the direct since we know we won’t get a switch successor reveal until winter probably Tomodachi Life Port or Nintendo Land Port, they could do a sequel to these games on the new console A Donkey Kong entry (2D or 3D) Wind Waker HD and Twilight Princess HD Ports, if not, GameCube for NSO Expansion Pass A Full fledged remake of Luigi’s Mansion for Halloween A 2D Kirby remake Something Metroid, either 2 and 3 Remasters, a Super Metroid remake or a 4 trailer and release window Kid Icarus Uprising Remake Something Xeno related Something completely out of left field like an F-Zero or Starfox game These next ideas I want to say but they’ll probably end up on the switch successor next year, A Super Mario Party sequel A new 3D Mario A new 3D Kirby Something Yoshi related

I would be so down for a collection of the Pushmo series but on-top of that id also like to see Nintendogs, Mario Galaxy 2, 1080° Snowboarding or Avalanche & Punch-Out!!.. it would also be nice to see Kirby Planet Robobot, Poochy & Yoshi's Woolly World & Luigi's Mansion but i already own them so no need for second copies.. however I'll never complain about more love given to Luigi's Mansion (PLEASE give me some Luigi's Mansion Amiibo 😩) As for a brand new titles personally i think its best if they save any of those & release them exclusively for there next gen system Plus i never even mentioned third party games such as older Cod games (MW, MW2, MW3, BO1 & BO2), Medal of Honor: Allied Assault, Tony Hawk Underground, Doritos Crash Course 1+2, Disney's Tarzan, Far Cry Collection, Peggle, Dead Rising, Burnout 3: Takedown, Split/Second & Harms Way So there is still loads of games left they could port themselves or have third parties port to keep the switch rolling right up untill the day of the next gen system release

Any news about F-Zero is good news to me (unless it's Nintendo saying it's dead).

Honestly in my opinion the 2 games that need to be ported to the switch are Super Mario 3D Land and Super Mario Galaxy 2
