Man I was just playing a new file on Mario rpg again because my Xbox is broken and then I go online and see people saying there’s a remake; weirdest coincidence ever but I was soooo happy! One of my favourite games ever!

I’m literally sooo happy that their bringing back Luigi’s Mansion Dark Moon, that game was a part of my younger childhood and I can’t wait to be able to experience it again.

Pikmin 4 looks like it'll be so much more than I could've dreamed, I am unbelievably hyped. Also Mario Wonder looks like an acid trip in the best way possible. Seriously, what an amazing direct.

Super Mario RPG, Pikmin 4, MK8 Wave 5 DLC, and Super Mario Brothers Wonder were the highlights of this direct for me. Still bummed out about no Tomodachi Life or another Mii focused game or Donkey Kong game, but still a pretty good direct.

I think they are done with the whole Mii thing, they never did anything with it on the Switch despite letting you create one for no reason, and if Switch Sports is anything to go by expect the new Mii designs for everything else Mii related.

This Nintendo Direct was so good! I can’t wait for so many of these games to launch! I always find myself bowing back to Takahashi and Koizumi at the end of a direct.

Bro, when the opening cutscene to Super Mario RPG came up, I legit almost screamed in joy. Not a single direct has gotten me like that.

I'm going to be real, I never expected Super Mario RPG to have a remake, even though I never played it before, that's still pretty awesome.

With regard to everyone wondering/concerned about the voice overs in Wonder and WarioWare... 1. It's still Charles doing Mario's voice in Wonder. You can sense his distinct method of speaking. Hes just affecting a different tone this time around, much like he did with Luigi in Mansion 3. 2. Wario's "excellent!" Is very clearly the Nintendo Direct voice over guy doing a Wario impression. So hopefully people will relax about it...

Best actual game (showing how games play, features, etc.) showcase I've seen in a while. One takeaway is most of the games had release dates within 6 months and the sneak peaks at the ones further out still showed proof of concept and a little gameplay. I couldn't ask for more as a gamer of any console. Switch is still alive.

Kamek is finally in a mainline Mario Kart game since their removal in R. So glad

I love how they didn’t say a damn word during the Super Mario RPG trailer. They let the game and soundtrack speak for itself.

This direct took Mario to a whole new level. I love it.

Geno is back, and Peach is getting a new game. Sounds like a 11/10 Direct.

Pikmin 1 & 2 HD release was my highlight. The rest was definitely of good quality as well. I'm also really excited about Pikmin 4, night mode. That will be a different type of challenge. Thanks Nintendo!

Hands down one of the best directs in a LONG time! I genuinely forgot that I bought the Pokémon S/V DLC ages ago so that was a nice reminder lol

This was by far the best direct we've gotten since covid hit. Mario RPG coming back made me so happy, the Princess Peach game and Luigi's Mansion game pleasantly shocked me, same with the Pikmin games, Detective Pikachu Returns looks fun, there was a perfect amount of third party games and they all looked solid (though some just for what they were) and Super Mario Bros. Wonder looks fun and actually brings new stuff to the series.

I didn't get to play Super Mario RPG when it came out on the snes, but I did about a year later and it was so awesome! Seeing it being remade makes this Direct a w with that alone!

In my opinion, this was the best Nintendo Direct in a long time. It almost restore my faith in Nintendo.

I legit cried over Mario RPG getting the attention it deserves. Thank you Nintendo and Squarenix for finally making it happen

This direct was really REALLY good. It was worth the long wait between directs.

I'm REALLY curious how Psaro as the main character is going to work story wise. Like, ok, his true form is an elf, which isn't that odd. But most if not ALL of the previous Monsters games have had the ability to summon his monster form as a monster to use.

This Direct was certainly something to behold! The remake of Luigi's Mansion: Dark Moon has me especially hyped, considering that that game was one of my favorite 3DS games. Also, Petey, Wiggler, and Kamek are all coming back for MK8DX, which is awesome (although it also means that Diddy and Funky will probably be the last characters to make it in the game). Peach is getting her own game again for the first time since Super Princess Peach in 2005 (which is a seriously amazing game for those of you who haven't played it, go check it out)! And Super Mario Bros. Wonder is probably the real headliner for me, as it's the first 2D Mario game since 2012! Overall, a really fun Direct!

Dragon quest monsters is so hype, I loved the older games on Game boy so much

Didn’t expect Luigi’s mansion dark moon to be remastered, one of my favorite games

The nature of Super Mario Beos Wonder is so child-like and imaginative and i love it

With detective pikachu returns coming out, I hope this means we get a sequel to the detective pikachu movie.

This Nintendo direct was the best one we had for a while

This was one of the best and most exciting (because of the RPG remake) Direct in history. I haven't seen something like this in a long time.

Peach is so freaking adorable in the Super Mario RPG trailer I can’t even express nor even handle this!

I genuinely never expected Super Mario RPG to be remade. That’s pretty cool.

Square soft or now square enix owns some of the characters and stuff from that game so it makes sense why you wouldn't expect a remake of it kind of like how Golden Eye 007 is owned by a bunch of people so that one's hard to get remade too. Girl lots of old video games that deserve remakes but because of issues like this they're harder to get remade

I grew up in that time star, and my jaw literally hit the floor when I saw that. Didn't see that coming, not in a million years did I expect that. just plain awesome, that was a great game that many people like me played on the super nes

What I love about Mario wonder is that the animation and art reminds me of the manuals and guides that Nintendo used to make from the olde days

Im SO happy that Sentret and Reuniclus and a few others showed up in the dlc especially Sentret since I had originally hoped that it was there in Scarelt and Violet!!

So glad they showed off the individual abilities that the chaos emeralds have for once!

That's one of the greatest Nintendo Directs in such a very long time!

This is the BEST direct we’ve gotten in AGES loved every second of this

​@@kayden2119Mario is getting an RPG, a side scrolling platformer, a dungeon crawler with Luigi's Mansion DM remaster, and a new Princess Peach game that looks like it'll be 2.5D. All of them have different artstyles and gameplay so yeah, Mario gets a pass
