I loved it a lot when I was 10 years old in 2013 along with the Wii U. The good thing is that it came to Switch (although I'm already 17 years old haha, everything happens very quickly), and asks to enjoy this modern classic together with my brother. I say that Super Mario 3D World is enjoyed alone, but never as much as with friends and family!

Yeah and it's even weirder that they cut 35's plug but kept then when you think about the fact that a server holding 99 people would probably be more expensive then a server that can hold 35 people ( per game(s) )

This is a great Direct to celebrate 35 years of the series, with a lot of surprises, and also the approach of many people to past and current Mario games. I celebrated like never before by playing most of the major games like the ones available on the Switch, like those of Super Mario 3D All-Stars and Super Mario 3D World, as well as picking up games on Wii and Nintendo 3DS like NSMBW, SMG2, SM3DL and NSMB2. Can we have a moment of appreciation for Mario’s voice actor though? Who also does the voices of Luigi, Wario, Waluigi and various other characters throughout the series. That man was the voice of our childhood, and the videos you see of him online you can always tell how much he loves his job and making his fan’s days. Thank you for the memories, Charles Martinet.

It's a business tactic I'm pretty sure. They just want consistent good early sales so they make people think it's limited.

How is this already a year old

As a big Mario fan, this was coolest Mario-Themed Direct ever for me! More recent Nintendo Directs have never gone through Mario's history on the same level as this one! With the Super Mario Bros. Game & Watch and Super Mario Bros 35, a game I still miss to this very day, Super Mario All-Stars on Nintendo Swich Online, Super Mario 3D All-Stars, Super Mario 3D World + Bowser's Fury, and Mario Kart Live HomeCircuit this Direct truly went all across Mario History!

I remember hearing the Best Buy sale rumors and was like “yeah sure, too good to be true” now I’m just amazed that actually happened.

I'm more irritated that they didn't even acknowledge Super Mario Galaxy 2. Not in the ending roll through games, not in the 3D All-stars, NOTHING! I wouldn't be surprised though if they maybe added Galaxy 2 as a dlc for 3D All-stars at a later point.
