i did my four years as an electrical apprentice at bci, good memories... pretty fun school, for an apprenticeship, they bundle your courses in a very tight schedule, and try to get you out of there as little amount of time as possible, as opposed to choosing your own course to get the required credit, I like this more, although I did not get a degree at bcit so i can't speak for that, but their trade program is awesome!

Their 2 year diploma programs are good in terms of practical skills and hands on experience. Personally helped me to find a good job after graduation in my industry. It’s been good since then, saved up some money to continue on my degree. Thanks for sharing with your experience and leaving a comment

Hi, Is the area where you prepared your breakfast a shared area? if yes how many people are you sharing that space with ? would appreciate it if you could tell me about the dynamic in the dorm . Thanks

yes the countertop in the kitchen is shared between roommates. The house fits 12 roommates and has 2 kitchens with 2 sets of appliances ( x3 fridge, x2 sink, x2 stove, x2 cabinets). When applying for housing, you can ask to be put in either social or academic house. Basically if you want to focus on school and don't want any big gatherings and parties at your house, you can ask for it. Check the BCIT Housing website, they also have a house tour video there. Hope it helps

On campus part-time jobs are available for all students. Sure you can find one that fits you the best
