A Closer Look at the Paranormal Activity Video | The Snedeker Case 1988

Let's take a trip back to 1988 to take a closer look at alleged “demonic activity” courtesy of Ed Warren, the self-styled demonologist who’s never been to a house where he couldn’t find a demon.
Before we get into the footage, I take you on a timeline of events surrounding the Snedeker case - the inspiration for the book, In a Dark Place, and the 2009 horror film, The Haunting in Connecticut.
The Warrens promised to show the alleged paranormal activity footage to Ray Garton, author of In a Dark Place, but that never happened. Years later, the footage was used in a 2000 TV documentary, World’s Scariest Ghosts: Caught on Tape. We’ll take a look at what was presented, break it down, and recreate it. Then, I’ll address an issue I haven’t seen brought up before - an accusation by Lorraine Warren about the Connecticut former funeral home.”

I did some.research into this case for my Ed and Lorrian video. And I was mortified about what they said about that family that serves their community through grief for 50 years. I'm going to be going further into Ed and Lorrain because they are held in such high regard and its all lies. All manipulative. Fantastic video as always Kenny.

@@daa5249 I'm guessing you didn't watch the video? The author of the book about it had to make up a narrative because the family's stories all contradicted each other. Further, the video evidence isn't remotely convincing. It's super lame. Anyone could make those videos (and Kenny did). So, tell me why anyone needs to prove that these people were lying when they clearly fabricated videos and couldn't keep their story straight?

I live in Ct, only about a half hour drive from the conjuring house in RI. They also defamed Bathtilda in that case. Claiming she was accused of witch craft and killing babies when she did no such thing and does not deserve to have her name and memory dragged through the mud that way

Give me one example of such stories that are believable where there's a book and/or a movie, and money to be made in other ways. We should just assume cases like this are mostly made up if not 100% lies. Paranormal filed started as a money making scam and it still is. %99.9 of stories and evidences are utterly fake. And because of that now it is impossible to find %0.1 that was maybe real.

I believe that most genuine cases are never made public , certainly here in the UK . My relative lives in a haunted apartment and I’ve experienced weird things there ,but it’s kept within our family . I have another relative who has a haunted home . This proves to me that genuine activity exists everywhere, but isn’t exploited for money.

@@ScotchMist-lx1gk Not only that, we're not walking around with bodycam 24/7. So most real events are not even captured. Genuine events definitely exist, I've seen it, my elderly parents have seen and experienced near death situations too. Back then home video wasn't a thing. Also from everything I've seen, real stuff happens in rural areas more than in cities for some reason. To support that, recently I read a scientific theory that "they" can't exist in urbanised areas where electricity and electronics are creating a lot of EMF. It was an article on some print magazine.

In the 17 years I've been doing the Paranormal investigating, I believe that it's my first priority to go into location and prove that it's not haunted do everything I can try to debunk everything I can to prove that there is no activity in the house. If something happens after that then you look into the paranormal.

The point was that if you go investigate a "paranormal claim", you try to disprove everything with science (and sometimes simple common sense) until you can't. Then you get other people, specialists in other fields, to do the same thing, using their own knowledge and expertise. That goes on until you cannot find any logical or scientific proof and/or means of recreating it. ONLY THEN can one claim that it COULD be paranormal.
