you touched on it briefly but one of the most WILD things to me, is how erin asked that people coming to her wedding have their covid vaccines, and heath and mariah were like yeah not happening, so then she asked them to at least covid test before attending and they wouldn't even DO THAT, like those people are not your friends.

That is so crazy to me. I don't follow any of them anymore, but I did continue to follow Erin and Carly for a while after I stopped watching any of the others. They always seemed a bit more real and genuine than the others. But how can you sitll be friends with any of them (even if they distanced themselves a bit from them) after any of this, but like, especially after they totally neglected your wishes and needs in regard to your own wedding? If I remember correctly, Erin was really, really scared with the whole covid situation because she's a bit of a hypochondriac, right? How can they just ignore that and still show up to that wedding, how disrespectful can you be, wow. And while yes, it's definitely a lot more on Heath & co - Erin, please, have some self-respect and just cut them all out of your lives, omg.

Did they still attend? That’s the only issue I’d have. If they refused to get vaccinated but also respected her wishes and didn’t attend - that’s one thing. At that point if they still attended they’d be doing so when her invitation was rescinded. If she didn’t make it a condition of being able to attend and it was left optional but suggested then I’m not sure why it’s an issue.

Fr, the fact that she’s so entitled to her ego of being the most “desired” out of the vlog squad like cmon this dude Jeff was basically coerced into being spun around with a crane by his sociopath friend and she sums it all up to him being in “love” with her and wanting to impress her? @@hjcqzbasically frivolous lawsuits. Lawsuits that typically slow down the legal system and are frowned upon by most because they’re usually based on events where people just seek money/fame over “crimes” brought to the court system that don’t necessarily belong there based on what courts were originally established for. They clog up the system and drain resources that should be kept available for the public who pay taxes and needs access to a speedy trial, particularly damaging to family law issues that need a fast resolution sometimes, or serious crimes, etc. One of the repercussions of a court system bogged down by tortuous lawsuits is “blackout days” where courts have to close due to lack of funding/time to operate. They’re gross in my eyes and most people interested in and/or supportive of a balanced legal system. Usually they involve already rich people or people just seeking to get rich and often involve accidents that aren’t that serious/damaging or things like David’s countersuit - instead of participating in the legal process with defending himself via an attorney just in the suit Jeff brought against him (logical). A lot of tort suits are also based on libel/slander/defamation claims brought by people whose reputation wasn’t really big enough to warrant taking the court’s time, nor would be largely affected in actually damaging ways from rumors. Like a middle/upper class person suing another for lying about him/her when they don’t have a business or life that really warrants involvement from the law.

@@wanotastorewa The free cars he gave away to random people were usually fake or had damaging financial consequences for the person gifted the car. Everything in America is taxed and nothing is free. So, if I were to "give" you a free car, and not just any car but a $250,000 car, that raises your tax bracket as an individual by $250,000 meaning you have to pay the government 30% of that during tax season ($75,000). Not only that, but car insurance, charging costs/oil changes depending on electric or engine fueled, all add up to where regular people can't afford the car. Then David gets to use that car as a tax write off for when he does his own taxes because for him it's a business expense, he saves money while you're stuck with a car you can't afford.

Looking back now that I’m older I’ve realized how nuts and terrible some of the shit was. So many people including Jonah doing dangerous stunts to impress David and the Vlog Squad. I bought merch, I have the shirt with David and Natalie on it from their prom, and a mug with a picture of David holding a mug with a picture of David holding a mug. I used to listen to VIEWS in the shower, and on the bus ride to school. It’s crazy, to see all that has happened and the things we didn’t know that was going on in the background. For what it's worth: I have been somewhat severely injured in freak accidents twice in my life (nowhere near as severe as what happened to jeff though) and his reaction was kinda similar to mine. I am permanently disfigured and disabled from these accidents, but I just feel bad that the other people have to live with the guilt of what happened to me? Of course, in both of my situations there was much less recklessness and dumbassery involved and his accident absolutely had someone at fault, but Jeff's reaction felt very familiar to me. Nobody wants to make somebody feel like they now have to atone for accidental wrongdoings, especially when it is someone you're close with. As soon as the accidents happened, I went into this weird state of immediate acceptance where my only focus was making sure the other person knew that I didnt blame them or think they deserved some sort of punishment. It may seem illogical or suspicious to see reactions like that from somebody who was a victim of a horrific accident, but his reaction made total sense to me.

this is the first video i've seen to actually explain everything in a concise way. everyone just assumes you already know about this stuff - i was completely in the dark and barely knew who dobrik was when this happened. awesome video!

It's hard for me to feel bad for Jeff, he had no problem covering for Dobrick when the rape victims came out publicly, but now that HE has problems caused BY DOBRICK, do I have to feel bad for him? Yea no, I don't know, I have a lot of feelings but that's one of the things I can never get out of my head.

I remember I tried to get into the BlogSquad bc I kept seeing stuff about them and David and wanted to figure out what was happening and I just saw so many reed flags by just ONE video and never wanted to touch it again Also those videos that fans made that were "David being a psychopath for 30 minutes" or "David almost killing everyone for 18 minutes" like girl- 💀

The issue I have with a lot of the Vlog squad members is they were all fine and down to do whatever until it didn’t serve them anymore, and then they jumped on the David hate wagon. He was/ is problematic for sure but none of them cared too much until they had no further gains to make

I watched every video on David’s channel while I was in a bad depression during my first year of uni. I locked myself in my dorm room for 3-4 days at a time in 2017. So around the same time you were weirdly obsessed with unhealthy Heath. I had a similar fallout with them as you and I enjoyed listening to you rerun through this drama that I myself already am fully familiar with. But you said it all better than I could have

She is crazy (self admitted, mental illness exacerbated by self medication) and an unreliable narrator, but she’s wicked smart and usually a good judge of character.

Storytime hehe: I went to school in LA and I went to school with a lot of girls who hooked up with multiple. Vlog squad members in their teens. Lacey James, Brandon Calvillo’s ex, was in my high school class and I specifically remember her dropping out and two months later her and Brandon were dating and everyone in the school knew she was under age. There’s also a video of Jonah/nick Being really creepy to one of my classmates, and she said that they invited her over with full knowledge of she was 16 at the time
